Sister is talking. "The cool thing, is that I was lucky enough to get sent here! They said your commander died, and I needed to replace the missing man."

"What?" Sarge is confused. "Our commander's not dead I'M OUR COMMANDER!"
"And an excellent one at that sir!" Simmons is a kiss-ass.
"Thank you Simmons."
"Yeah!" Sister says. "Your commander died! And one of the troops was going to be promoted, and I was sent to replace the missing troop!"
"Wha-wha-what's this about a promotion?!?" Simmons walks over to Sister.
"Sounds like Command made some kind of mistake." Sarge says.
"I dunno Sarge," Grif starts. "I thought you said Command never MAKES mistakes. That must mean you'er dead."
"I never thought I would see my own commander die." Ash says.

"Seriously, what was the promotion thing?" Simmons asks Sister. "I'm SURE I heard SOMETHING about someone getting promoted."
"They said that one of your troops will be promoted to replace your dead C.O." Sister says.
"One in particular?" Simmons asks. "One like me? A maroon one?"
"Hey... You're really scary! It's kinda hot!"

"Sarge, I'm really sorry you died." Grif says.
Sarge looks at Grif. "Don't be stupid Grif! How can I be dead if I'm standing right here!"
"Church died and he turned into a ghost....soooooo." Ash says.
"Shut yer keister, Ash!" Sarge orders.
"Yes, sir!" Ash says.
Grif speaks. "Well if Command was wrong about you dying Sarge, couldn't they be wrong about other stuff too? Like- Like- What if the Blues don't suck?" He gasps. "What if the Blues are awesome!?! This changes everything!"
"If the Blues are awesome, I'm blowing me and everyone up in the canyon." Ash says.

Simmons is giving a eulogy. "Dearly beloved... we are gathered here today to pay our final respects to Sarge."
Sarge is crying. "But I was so young! And violent!"
"And that's what makes this so tragic." Grif says.
"He didn't even live long enough to see me strap Grif to a rocket and blow him up." Ash sniffs.
