The next day when I was leaving the house, Rehan gave me a warning look. The two week deadline started today and I had zero plans on how to complete my end of the deal.

The entire way to my school, I was wrecking my brain but I didn't know what I could possibly do. "Hey" Aryan nudged me.

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked around the room. "You've been lost the whole day" He whispered. "You okay?" He asked.

We both tried to keep our attention towards the board. Our science teacher was a major pain and neither of us were in the mood of getting told off.

"It's nothing" I whispered back. "You sure?" He asked again. I hated how concerned he always was and how much he cared for me.

I hated that while I was here plotting on how to set his little sister up with my devil cousin, he was being concerned for me.

"Just tired" I tried to excuse myself. Before he could ask me anything else. "Can I come over to your place today?" I asked him.

"Of course" He said with his signature smile. His smile could honestly stop my heart. "Thanks–" "Aryan. Mira. Would you like to share something with the class"

We snapped our heads towards our teacher. "No" "No" Both of us replied at the same time. Our teacher glared at us before turning back to the board.

Aryan and I gave each other a side look as soon as our teacher turned her back towards us. Both of us covered our mouths at the same time to stop ourselves from laughing.

{after school}

Aryan and I pulled up to our street. "Stop here" I told him. "Yeah yeah I know" I smiled knowing he had gotten used to it by now.

I always made sure that he stopped before our houses just to be safe. I hated walking in the heat but it was better than getting beaten.

I entered the house and quickly made my way to my room. I told Aryan I'll be at his place in an hour so I rushed to get changed.

When I came out of the shower, I realised the house was quiet. Too quiet. I walked around slowly and looked for the other members of the household.

To my surprise, no one was there. My aunt was nowhere in sight and my cousins weren't home even though they always reached by this time of the day.

I shrugged it off and turned around. "BOO!" I screamed when someone shouted in my face. I fell onto the floor with a thud. I looked up to see Rehan laughing at me. I smacked his leg.

"Rehan what the hell" I scolded him. "You...should've seen your... face" He tried to say in between laughs. I got up and brushed myself off. "Yeah whatever idiot" I pushed past him.

"Oh my stomach hurts" He rubbed it as he calmed his laughter. He walked behind me into my room and I eyed him.

"What?" He asked as if him walking into my room isn't unusual. I ignored him and picked out my clothes for the day. "By the way I have some news for you" He told me.

"Urgh what now" I groaned as I laid out my outfit. "Ma and Papa had to visit some relative in Dehli" He told me. "Wait what?" I turned towards Rehan.

"Yeah they'll be gone for this week" I couldn't hold my excitement. He had just told me I was aunt-free for a whole week. I shrieked in excitement. "You're being weird" He stated.

"Shut up" I told him. "This means you get to do your job freely" I groaned when I realised I have to spend my free week to fulfill his stupid deal. "Mehek?" I asked.

"I got rid off Mehek" He simply said. I stood there with my jaw dropped. "You killed your sister?!" I screamed at him. "You're an idiot" He rolled his eyes.

"No I just convinced her to sleepover at her friends' houses because Ma will never let her any other time" He explained. I nodded but then looked back at him. "Houses?" I asked.

He chuckled. "Yeah that idiot is spending a night each at five of her friends houses" He told me. "What the heck" I laughed. "Yeah she's a dumbass" He said.

"Look get this shit done I've literally cleared all the road blocks" He told me. "Yeah I'm going over to their house now" He nodded and left the room. I shut the door and started getting ready.

I kept it simple knowing I'm only going over to their house for a casual visit

I kept it simple knowing I'm only going over to their house for a casual visit. I rolled my eyes to myself at the word 'casual' I walked into their large bungalow.

I've been at their place a couple of times so I somewhat knew my way around. "Hi" I turned to a Aryan's mom when she greeted me. "Oh hi aunty" I said with a smile. "Here for Aryan?" I nodded with a smile.

"He's ups–oh actually Suhana" She called out. Suhana entered the room in her home shorts and a white top. Her hair was thrown in a messy bun. "Yeah ma?" She asked.

"Take her to bhaiyya's room will you?" Suhana led me upstairs to Aryan's room. I knew roughly where it was but I was glad Suhana was told to take me.

"Hey I love your hair I can never do a proper messy bun" I started the conversation awkwardly. "Oh thanks this took a lot of practice" She told me.

"You think you could teach me someday?" I asked. "Yeah for sure" She said with a smile. "Bhaiyya!" She called out as we entered his room. I placed my bag on his bed.

"What!" I snorted when Aryan's annoyed voice came from the shower. "Mira's here" She told him with a laugh. "Oh uh just a minute" He shouted back to us.

"Yeah it's not going to be minute" Suhana laughed. "Hey you mind hanging with me till this idiot comes out?" I asked.

The real reason I was here was Suhana not Aryan. "Sure" She said with a innocent smile. I'm going to hell.
