Mira's POV:

I followed my fellow schoolmates into the large assembly hall which was on the second floor of the school.

I looked around the hall and saw chairs perfectly aligned in even rows and columns. The stage rested at the front of the hall.

There were students chatting about as if they've known each other for ages whereas I had no one.

I scanned the hall, trying to look for a suitable seat. I felt awkward as I stood alone in the corner of the hall.

"Aryan over here" I turned when I heard Aryan's name. He walked further into the hall with long strides.

His hands were in his pockets and his white t-shirt was slightly tucked into his belt from the front.

His shades now hung on the hem of his t-shirt. He casually walked over to his group of friends and sat down.

His group of friends consisted of at least eight people. Okay Mr Popular. I couldn't help but continue to admire him as he chatted with his friends.

Even though I was on the other side of the hall and shouldn't have been spotted, his friend to my bad luck saw me.

I watched point at me and say something to his friends that I couldn't hear because of the distance.

I gasped and immediately looked away when the entire group including Aryan turned their attention towards me.

I looked around and tried to move behind a couple of students to try and get away from their sight.

I was too focused on trying to get away from them that I didn't realise there was someone in front of me.

"Fuck" I bumped into someone and she dropped her books, causing her to curse out loud.

I looked at her guiltily when she glared at me. "I'm so sorry" I mumbled but she just huffed and walked away.

"Hey you good?" I turned to a sweet voice next to me. I looked down to see a girl sitting on the chair I was standing next to.

"You wanna sit here?" She asked sweetly. "Yes thank you" I gratefully took the seat next to her.

"I feel so bad" I told her as I looked to the front where the girl I crashed into was sitting. "Don't be" She said.

"Why not I bumped into her" I looked at her confused. "Are you new?" She asked sarcastically.

"Aren't we all new here?" I asked with an awkward chuckle. "Oh you really are new" She said with realisation.

"Most of us are from B-Wood Middle school so we've all known each other for years" She explained.

"Oh I see" I finally understood. B-Wood Middle school is where Rehan and Mehek are studying right now.

"So that girl that you bumped into is a class A bitch" She told me. I leaned in as she leaned in to whisper.

"Her name is Gia Mital. Her dad owns Mital enterprise, I'm sure you've heard of it" I had heard of it, it was one of the most known enterprises in India.

"Let's just say she thinks she's the prettiest girl in school and she has dated half the guys already" She told me.

"And her next target...well actually he's been her target from the start..." I watched look over me as if scanning someone.

"There" I looked at where she was pointing and realised it was Aryan's group of friends. "Aryan Khan, SRK's son" She said.

Aryan looked over at my direction and I immediately turned back. Dammit caught staring again.

"Aryan hasn't let her get to him...yet at least. He still parties with her and I'm sure I've seen them make-out at some point" She said.

"I and well many others honestly think he and his childhood friend Navya Nanda have a thing" She pointed out.

"Amitabh Bachan's granddaughter?" I asked and she nodded. "Nothing has been confirmed though" She said.

"Aryan may attract all the ladies and well why shouldn't he look at him" She said. I'm trying to hard not to.

"But reportedly he hasn't dated anyone" I chuckled lightly. "Reportedly?" I repeated with a little laugh.

"Honey this is B-Wood, you're basically in the center of the the gossip world" She told me in all seriousness.

"You best make sure you're strong enough to handle this world of ours" She suggested. My smile diminished when she said that.

We got distracted by the announcement from the stage. "Oh by the way..." I turned to listen to her.

"I'm Meera" She finally introduced herself. "Mira" I told her with a smile. We turned our attention back to the principal's speech.

"How about here?" Meera suggested

"How about here?" Meera suggested. I looked at where she was pointing and sat down on the left table.

We chose the middle column of the classroom. Meera didn't want to sit in the front so we chose the third row out of the five.

I looked around the classroom and saw students piling in. "Oh great ms wannabe is in our class" Meera mumbled.

She rolled her eyes when Gia walked in. She wore a short dress topped with a denim jacket.

Three of her friends walked with her as they chose their seats. "How about here?" Her friend suggested.

"Don't be stupid" Gia told her friend who immediately shut up. What a rude bitch. Gia picked a seat near the windows a row behind us.

"Oh you gotta be kidding me" Meera shook her head in disappointment. "What? What happened?" I asked her.

"Clowns alert" She simply said. I looked at the entrance of the classroom to see Aryan and his group of friends walk in.

I immediately looked away to make sure he doesn't catch me staring again. "I thought he was hot?" I whispered to Meera mockingly.

"Oh Aryan can stay all he wants how else am I going to have motivation for class but his friends are the biggest clowns in school"

I laughed at her but unfortunately a little too loudly because I caught the attention of Aryan's group.

"Hey look man your admirer" One of his friends joked making Aryan snort. My cheeks turned red in embarrassment.

Meera gave me a look asking for an explanation but I just shook my head. I tensed up when Aryan walked past me.

His cologne filled the air around me. He took the seat right behind me. His friends took over the seats at the back of the class.

How was I going concentrate in class knowing he's looking at me throughout the lesson. I'm so failing all of my lessons.
