"How do I look Aryan?" Mehek intervened. "Uh yeah you look alright" He patted her head like she was a child.

I knew Aryan would never see her as anything else rather than a younger sister. I mean he isn't wrong about that.

"Come on we gotta hit the road" He told me. I looked at him confused. "Road?" My aunt asked him.

"Oh right I forgot to tell you my party isn't at home" He told us. "It'll be somewhere else" He simply said.

"But why beta?" My aunt asked. "Aunty it's a little weird if we have a party with kids so much younger than us" He explained.

I wanted to laugh at Mehek's face when he called her a kid. What did she expect? My aunt was not happy but she picked her battle.

"Okay sure just bring her back safe and on time" She told him. "Of course I will" He smiled at her.

Mehek and Rehan made their way across the street and we watched them walk into Aryan's bungalow.

Before I walked down the steps of our front door, my aunt grabbed my hand roughly and stopped me.

"Listen you be in your limits and make sure you make a good impression of our family" She angrily whispered.

"Don't you think about anything with Aryan" She said. "I know it'll be difficult because you're characterless but at least try" She said.

Characterless? She had to audacity to say that when she just tried to set her twelve year old with a high schooler. I just nodded slightly.

Aryan opened the car door for me and let me sit inside. "Thanks" I said as I sat down. He closed the door and sat in from the other side.

He waved to my aunt before driving away. He put on some music and 'heat waves' started to play in his car.

"You look really beautiful" He told me. I blushed at his comment. "I just put something random on" I told him. No lie there.

"Red is my favourite colour you know" He said. I know. "Oh I didn't know" I chuckled awkwardly.

We drove in a comfortable silence on a road that was unknown to me. I should've been scared but I trusted Aryan.

I had only known him for a week but yet he is the only one that I trust. He has taken more care of me than my own family.

"Here we are" He parked the car and we stepped out. Music blasted in the speakers and the venue was already filled with guests.

"What's wrong?" Aryan asked me. He must have noticed I was looking around nervously.
"Nothing just never been to a party" I said.

"Hey!!" I hugged all of our friends. "I'm so glad you could make it" Rhea said. "Me too" All of us sat in one corner chatting away.

"Who let her in?" Meera caught our attention. I looked over to the direction she was looking at and saw Gia.

She was wearing a black body-con dress that stopped mid-thigh. Her cleavage was revealed just the right amount.

Her hair was perfectly curled and I have no idea how she does he makeup so well. She is actually really beautiful.

I just wished she wasn't a stuck-up bitch or else I would've loved to be friends with her. I watched her walk further into the room.

"Are you checking her out?" Sona chuckled. "She is pretty hot" I said without removing my eyes from Gia. "Honestly agreed" She said.

I watched Gia tap on somebody's shoulder and my smile dropped when Aryan turned around.

I saw him awkwardly smile and kiss her cheek as he greeted her. She hugged him tightly and he hesitated at first but hugged back.

"Don't worry about it" Rhea told me. They must've noticed my expression when Gia hugged him.

"Oh yeah no I don't care" I tried to brush it off. "Right sure" Sona rolled her eyes. "Look their families have been friends forever..."

"Oh yeah totally I get that" I cut Meera off. I understood what they were trying to say. It's not easy for Aryan to just cut people off.

I saw Gia drag the boys over to us. "Let's all play a game shall we?" Gia excitedly asked. The four of us exchanged a look.

Before we could say anything, she was able to get the attention of a large group at the party with her friends.

Everyone sat down and I was happy that Aryan chose to sit next to me on the sofa I was currently on.

He rested his left arm behind me and smiled. Gia sat next to Aryan and snaked her hand around his other arm.

"Let's start" Someone said. "What're we playing?" Another one asked. "How about never have I ever" Gia suggested.

"If everyone is okay with it" She said as she looked at me directly. "You probably haven't done much so you know" She said smugly.

"I'm sure she'll play" Aryan said. "Okay sure" Gia got someone to start the game. I was starting to get really nervous.

A few turns went by and Gia was right I hadn't done anything. Not drinking on the turns of others was still fine.

Everyone didn't even bother saying things they haven't done because these people were wild. So they just came up with anything.

I just sat there wondering how they're even alive at this point. Like why have you climbed out of school. For what?

I was afraid of me not being able to say anything on my turn. I panicked when Gia went because after he was Aryan, then me.

Everyone looked at me as they waited. I was supposed to say something but didn't know what to do.

Alright screw it we're going with dark humour. "Never have I ever had parents who didn't burn in a fire" Aryan choked on saliva.

"Mira damn you really went dark" Jai said. "What had to make sure all of you drank" I joked. Everyone laughed and drank.

Success! Sorry mom and dad rest in peace. "That was a good one" Aryan whispered. I could see Gia glaring at me.
