"No no no, tell Juan whatever the hell his name is I paid for marble floors. How the hell he just gone slap some plywood down talkin bout he done." Korion expressed angrily. She had just gotten a call from the interior designer who informed her that the contractors did the complete opposite of what she asked.
"Hold on, I'm getting another call." She said hanging up the phone, it took all of five minutes for them to stress her out.
"Wassup mama, why you looking like that?" Saint asked once the call connected.
"Just stressed about some things pertaining to the store, what you doing?" She asked. This was one of the few times he called and wasn't in the car
"What's wrong?" He asked going around her question
"I just feel like these contractors are playing in my face because I'm a woman, they're not taking me seriously at all. I thought because they're supposedly a professional company I could trust them to do what I asked after I already paid but they playing." She told Saint
"Send me the addy, I'm bouta go up there." He said referring to her store
"Saint no. I don't need you acting an ass in front of those people." She laughed. She knew how Saint was and more importantly how he was about her. The last thing she needed was for him to be pistol whipping a nigga infront of her business. She knew that he'd never go there with the intent of beating somebody's ass but he had a temper and he's known to to lose his cool behind her.
"I promise I'm not gone touch or threaten nobody, send me the address." He demanded
"Promise?" She asked
"I promise, everything you needed done gone be done by the end of the day." He said and she nodded
"Thank you baby. Who's picking Kai up?" She asked him
"I'm finna shoot my mom a text and ask her to scoop her for me."
"It's okay, I got it." She told him
"Nah you good mama, I know you out with London and Jayda right now. Do what you gotta do."
"Boy send me the address, make sure you call them to let them know I'll be picking her up." She said and he laughed
"I added ya name to the list when I first enrolled her.. in case of emergencies and shit." He said causing Korion to smile
"Okay I'll text you and let you know once I get there, let me know how everything goes at the store."
