Distrust

A little birdie once said that proxies of Slender don't live that long and that they could tell when the person's time was up. There were also rumors of disappearances caused by the cps; the black accounts. There were accounts that were cp related, did research, or were experiencers that would suddenly stop updating for long periods of time. There are many uncertainties about what could have happened to them.

My main question though is what are the cps' goal? They stated that things were going to change and that they did not want to stay in the dark from humans. Though I get the feeling that many cps don't even like humans. That they see us as disrespectful, rude, annoying, and vindictive. There's also a pattern of distrust. There are also signs that sxcp regrets coming forwards. I'm aware that sxcp does not reflect the whole of the cps. They changed their username which made their page harder to find. They also deleted their YouTube account. They have also complained about the treatment that they have gotten since coming forward. Considering all the hate they have gotten it is understandable.

Though why would they reveal themselves in the first place? Their main goal that they have revealed is to defeat Z. Perhaps they wanted to establish trust by giving people info, though they've made it clear that only cps are built to defeat Z and his allies. Did they perhaps want to spread awareness with this info? Their combat and strength are superior to humans. Though there is one thing that the cps have been unable to control about the humans who experience them: their media. Technology is something that was created fairly recently and it's been progressing steadily. People could feel more private while telling their thoughts and experiences.

On sites like Quotev and Wattpad, the cp community grew too. Some faked their experiences for clout while others told the truth. There were also experiences that portrayed the cps in a negative light. It would be natural to want to clear up the truth; expose the liars. My main theory though is that since people were learning more of their existence, they could have wanted to validate their existence and clear the fog. They could have also felt like since people were starting to believe in them, that people would be ready to accept them and the truth. Though they were probably disappointed in the response.

Given the treatment they have received, the death threats, doxing, loss of privacy, and overall hatred, it is understandable that they would hate humans and the cp fandom especially. That said, I feel uncertain and suspicious of them at times. That said, it would be a breach of privacy to force them to reveal their intentions and every thing that they do. There is a high chance that them revealing all that will not happen.

I took so much time to edit things to make sure I said exactly what I wanted to say in the clearest manner and elaborate properly. I guess it turned into an essay, though I'd prefer giving a well informed chapter than something half-assed.

I re-edited this chapter to make it impersonal or less about me. I felt after rereading it that I said some things that were unnecessary and biased.
