Before the Mask(katethered's prequel about Wolf)= BTM
The Black Wolf Creepypasta (katethered's main story about Wolf)= BWC
I read the two stories Katethered has on her page about Wolf. Here are some inconsistencies, plot holes, and questions I have about the stories. At one point, I also mentioned one of SXCP's books.
In Before the Mask, it was written that Wolf had an older, popular, athletic half-brother. The brother was the son of Wolf's stepfather. In the Black Wolf Creepypasta, Kate stated that he has no brother. She sounded confused when someone asked about the brother in a chapter about Wolf's relationships.
The next inaccuracy in BTM was that Wolf ate regular food for breakfast one day. The story mentioned how he ate oatmeal for breakfast. Wolf has stated that he can only eat raw meat and that regular food makes him sick. In the story, the food also didn't affect him and he ate it willingly. Wolf has also explained that his family knew about his condition.
The main thing that surprised me in BTM was that no one knew about the abuse yet. Then in BWC, the victim named Maria remembered that Wolf was the kid who was abused by his mother his entire life. So it means that at some point, people may have figured out that he was being abused. Maria did not know Wolf personally, so she only could have heard it through a rumor. This raises other questions. How did people find out and did Wolf tell someone?
Either way, in BTM, Wolf didn't want to tell people about it. There was one point when Wolf explained that even his only friend didn't know the full severity. I have a strong feeling that at that point in his life, he didn't want to be punished by his Mother for revealing that info. Moving on, Wolf explained that his Mother only scarred him in unseen places.
Mainly in places normally covered by clothing or hair. That said, if he took off his shirt, he would be able to reveal the truth. According to BTM, he wasn't being bullied yet so there would be no other suspects except his family. That said, in high school, Maria found his research journal and read it to the class which affected his social life. I think after that, he was bullied, but he dropped out after or during his Freshman year. In BTM, Wolf had a friend, but he was not mentioned in BWC.
In BTM, there are two main places where Wolf gets tortured. In the bathroom and this separate room meant for torture. He was also verbally abused in the first chapter when he got home too late. In that part, the book said that Wolf's stepfather was in the car with the Mom. I assume that he drove the car into the garage and entered the house through another entrance.
In the next chapter, there was a point when the mother slammed his head against a tile wall and shoved him into a bathtub. The father was home, but he didn't do anything. The unrealistic part of this is that tile is very loud and there are between five to six rooms in that house. Logically since four people are living in that house, combined with the torture room, and bathrooms, it wouldn't be a big house. It seems unlikely that neither the step-father nor step-brother didn't hear anything.
Torture is a serious felony. I also found out that Texas uses the death penalty. There's also the fact that Wolf received serious psychological damage due to the trauma. I can't fact-check it since the book was deleted, but Wolf stated that he struggles with PTSD, DID, and depression. He was also abused for over a decade.
Nevertheless, there is a chance that during the investigation the police officers would find out that Wolf is either inhuman or would think that he lied about some of the torture methods. In the second chapter of BTM, he was forced to drink soap, his head was smashed against a tile wall, and he was waterboarded for hours. A normal ten-year-old would die if this happened to them.
If his story was believed by the police officers, then they would have to come to the conclusion that he isn't human which could put him at risk. Either way, due to the scarring and underfeeding, social workers would have to take him into their custody. It is also likely that he would also live with his grandparents.
There is also a lot of mystery surrounding Wolf's father. Who and what was he? He carried DNA relating to wolves. Based on Wolf's personality and diet, it also prove that point. There's one strange detail though. Wolf has said that he can't withstand cold that well, but wolves are known to survive cold climates. Then there is the fact that Wolf can turn into a wolf, yet he isn't exactly a shapeshifter.
When he met the family of shapeshifters, one of the members pointed out that he wasn't one of them, but was related to wolves in some way. SXCP also mentioned that Wolf might have some demonic blood inside him. I wonder if that part of Wolf affected his body temperature. Or in other words, is that the reason why he only likes heat?
This chapter is very long, so I want to stop here. I want to do another chapter on behaviors and traits of wolves that are seen within Wolf. I did not make this chapter to hate on Katethered. Besides, she has been pretty inactive on Wattpad since 2021. I think something happened to her since many people left comments on her message board, but they were left unanswered. The last chapter she wrote happened on April 16, 2021. It was a chapter addressing someone trying to steal her story about Wolf. There are also more experiences I want to share relating to the cps, so I'll probably upload that chapter tomorrow. Stay safe out there.
