The next morning Aly got up, not much of a hangover besides her stomach churning like it was full of acid, like it always did the day after drinking because she never ate enough.

Aly went through the motions of getting ready, which for today was just washing her face, changing out of her pajamas and throwing her hair into a ponytail.

"Good morning," Aly smiled when she entered the kitchen-living room area where Sierra was at the sink. Luke and Calum sat on the sofa on their phones, relaxed chill music playing from the TV.

"Morning," Sierra responded, still focused on cleaning the dishes in front of her.

Aly got herself a cup of coffee, before making her way to the couch area. She sat down in one of the grey living room chairs, cradling the coffee in her hands as she got comfy in the chair.

"What's the plan for today?" Aly asked looking at the two boys on the couch across from her.

"We have some studio time booked for the band, so we'll be gone in a bit," Luke answered looking up at his soon to be sister-in-law.

Aly just nodded.

"Speaking of," Luke stood up, "I'm gonna go change then we can go?" He looked down at Calum who still looked tired. Calum nodded as Luke walked away.

"Will you help me with some place settings later?" Sierra turned off the water, looking over at her sister.

Aly gave her a thumbs up as she took a sip of her coffee. Sierra left the room, leaving Calum and Aly alone.

Aly wouldn't admit it out loud but she'd spent all night thinking about the moment the two of them had shared last night. It was a silly little moment but she couldn't get over it, a moment that could of taken a big turn if she had just made a move.

She kept glancing over at him, his eyes always on his phone.

"Can I help you?" Calum asked when he noticed her looking at him, he had been doing the same. There had been a war in his mind since the moment they touched last night. He knew he'd promised he wouldn't make a move but she had been the one to tease him last night.

"No," she took a sip of her coffee, a smirk on her lips.

A WEEK LATER

Aly followed her sister into the venue, both of their heels clicking on the brown tile floor.

It was the night of the rehearsal dinner. Sierra was excited and nervous she hadn't stopped talking about all of the details. Aly had blocked her out until a name peaked her interest.

"You and Cal are gonna walk together, then," Sierra kept going. Aly smiled to herself, she hadn't seen him since the morning after the pool party but she had thought about him a lot.

"I'm going to go talk to Grace," Sierra spotted her wedding planner talking to someone across the room.

Aly just nodded as her sister made her way across the room. Her eyes scanned the room, a few small groups of people stood around talking.

From a doorway across the room, to her left she saw him walk in, hands in the pockets of his slacks, a small smile growing on her face as their eyes met. They both slowly made their was to the corner, standing in front of each other.
