SIX MONTHS LATER

Time flew by, Aly was working every day, except for weekends, of course. She spent most of her nights and weekends with Christian, the two getting closer and closer, still no official label on their relationship besides they were seeing each other and each other only.

Aly was happy with him, he sent her cute morning texts, he'd send her money for lunch at work on her longer days. Things were easy, seeing him never felt like a chore.

Calum was dating someone new. Aly had met her a couple times, she thought she was nice but when she saw her with Calum she got a bit jealous and she hated that.

Aly knew she was the one who cut their relationship or whatever it was short. She also had no reason to be jealous, she was with Christian, and happy.

Aly and Christian were back at her house, after spending all night on the Santa Monica pier. They had shared cotton candy and popcorn, rode all the rides.

Christian followed Aly inside the house later that night.

"Want a water or anything?" Aly asked as she set her bag down. Christian left his jacket on one of the kitchen high top chairs, before he made his way over to the couch.

"Just a water," he smiled over at her before he sat down. Aly grabbed a water for both of them before slipping off her sneakers and heading over to the couch.

Aly sat down beside him, handing him one of the waters as she picked up the remote and found something to watch on TV. Once Friends was playing on the TV, Aly curled into his side, his arm wrapped around her shoulders.

Aly looked at her phone for the time before she looked up at him, "My sister and Luke won't be home for another hour."

Christian turned to look at her with a small smile, "Oh really?"

He placed his fingers under her chin, slowly leaning in.

"Mhm," she hummed, smiling, slowly closing her eyes as their lips met. Aly liked kissing Christian but it never felt right, she of course enjoyed it because duh. There just wasn't that spark of passion.

They didn't get past kissing before Aly heard the garage door open and pulled away from Christian.

"They're early!" she looked at her phone before brushing her hair down with her fingers.

"Can't we just go to your room?"

"Yeah but," Aly started as the door to the garage opened.
