A FEW DAYS LATER
"Aly?" Sierra shouted from the bottom of the stairs. Aly pulled on a sweater, covering the little black dress she had on for her secret night out, and made her way to the top of the stairs.
"Yes?"
"Are you gonna be around for dinner?" Sierra asked looking up at her little sister with a smile.
"No, I have plans with some coworkers," Aly said leaning over the top of the stairs.
"I feel like I haven't seen you in weeks," Sierra sighed.
Aly did feel bed for lying to her sister all the time. She loved Sierra, she didn't want to hide things from her but for now it was easier.
"I'll be home tomorrow night, I promise," Aly smiled at her.
"You better!" Sierra laughed, "I'm happy for you though," she smiled at her little sister.
"Thank you," Aly smiled back, knowing exactly what she meant.
Later that night, after an hour drive to a restaurant where they were positive they wouldn't be see anyone they knew, hoping no fans recognized him.
"Cal?" Aly turned to look at him while they waited at a cross walk, catching him with his phone in his hands, leaning back at an odd angle, "What are you doing?" The corners of her mouth turned upward.
"Don't move," he smiled, eyes on his phone screen.
"Cal!" She protested, putting her hand up in front of the camera.
"Stop!" he pulled the phone away from her hand, "You look cute," he smiled at her, tucking his phone away and putting his arm around her shoulders as the signal changed, allowing them to cross the street.
"What we're you gonna ask?" he questioned as they kept walking to the restaurant.
"Uhm," Aly hummed, slightly hesitant to ask, "What are your thoughts on telling our friends and family?"
"Telling them?"
"About us," she looked up at him as they came to a stop in front of the restaurant.
"Really?" he questioned, a bit taken back by her suggestion. Of course he wanted to but he knew how nervous she was about her sister knowing. He was just as nervous knowing he had been warned to stay away from her.
"We could do it at the Valentine's day party," she suggested.
"Okay," he smiled softly, "If you want to," he tucked some of her hair behind her ear.
"Do you want to?" she asked softly, his hand still on her cheek.
"Of course!" he smiled ear to ear. Aly smiled back happily before they turned entered the restaurant.
