Aly focused back on her work, trying new combinations and picking out new things to try. She let out a groan of frustration, pushing her fingers through her hair as she stared at the screen in defeat.

"Sounds like I got here just in time," Calum walked through her open door. He had let himself in since he knew the garage code.

"Jesus, Cal," Aly held her hand to her chest, her heart racing.

"I brought In-n-Out," he held up a white paper bag in each hand.

Aly smiled at the bags, "Thank you."

Calum made his way into the room, taking a seat on the bed, pulling out the food, "I got one of everything since I didn't know what you wanted"

"You could of asked," Aly chuckled as she turned around in the chair to face him, "Did you get an animal fry?"

"Here ya go," he handed her a container.

"Thank you!" she smiled taking the fries from him.

"So," he pulled out his own food, "What are you working on?"

"The styling for this new line we're putting out, I just can't find anything I like to make the items pop in the promo shoot," Aly explained, picking up some of the cheesy fries with her fingers, "I don't want to think about that any more"

"Then lets talk about something else," he hummed, "Have you heard from your sister and Luke?"

"She sent me pictures of some of the art they saw in Florence but that's about it," Aly shrugged.

"Yeah he wasn't in much of a talking mood when I called him," Calum took a bite of his burger.

"They have a habit of falling into their own world when they're alone, I don't know how they do it. Its like they're the only two people in the world, I've seen them even do it at parties," Aly talked like the idea of being as in love as they were was a myth, because to her it was, "I can't ever imagine being so in love."

"Why not?" Calum asked.

Aly shook her head as she took another bite of the fries, "Too deep."

"Huh?"

"Thats too deep of a topic, let's keep things light," Aly nodded, it was her own way of keeping a relationship like this from becoming emotionally attached.

"Why?" Calum questioned.

"Because," Aly shrugged, her eyes on her fries, looking for the perfect bite, "What did you do today?"

"Not much, ran some errands," he shrugged, choosing not to question her anymore.

"Did you grab anything to drink?" Aly asked, looking up at him.

"No, I assumed we'd just raid their collection," he joked with a smile standing up, "What do you want?"

"Uhm whatever is fine," she smiled as he left the room.

Aly turned back to computer, as much as she didn't want to work on it, she had to get it done before this evening.

She mindlessly picked at the fries as she stared at the screen, she didn't even hear Calum come back, handing her a beer.
