"Can I tell you something that might come out creepy? But I don't mean it to be?" Aly asked, digging her spoon in her ice cream creating the perfect bite.

"Hit me," he smiled, taking a lick of his ice cream cone.

Aly blushed, "My sister only set this up because I like your music and one time told her I thought you were cute."

"Oh so we've got a fan girl," he teased.

"Would you rather me hate your music?" She raised her brow, putting a spoon full of ice cream in her mouth with a smirk.

"What's your favorite song?" he asked.

"Mhm," Aly hummed looking down at her ice cream, "Probably 'I Think Too Much' or 'Oh Well' because it's fun to scream along to."

Christian nodded, happily.

The two of them sat in the ice cream shop and talked for a couple hours hours. Aly never heard her phone buzz with texts and other notifications, she just sat in the moment and got to know Christian.

Christian drove her back home. As they pulled into the drive way, Aly found herself wondering if she was gonna see him again? Was he gonna try and kiss her? Should she try and kiss him?

Aly subtly shook her head, thinking of Calum.

"Uhm, thanks for the ride," Aly looked over at him with a soft smile.

He turned to look at her, a hand still on the wheel, "Anytime."

"Uhm," Aly hummed not sure of what to say.

"Are you free next Thursday?" Christian took the shot and asked.

"Maybe," Aly smirked, "Why?"

"My label is having this networking party, and I've got a plus one, if you're free," he smiled. Aly's heart fluttered at the look on his face.

"I should be able to move some things around," she shrugged, as their eyes met.

"Text me, if you're able to," he leaned it, hand moving to her cheek, pressing his lips to hers.

Aly was taken off guard by the action, but she let herself kiss him back, but not reaching for more. They slowly parted, Aly slowly opened her eyes. Christian's fingers still lingered on her cheek as their eyes met.

"I'll uhm see you later," Aly blushed, as she pulled away, opening the car door.

"Bye!" He called after her, smiling from ear to ear.

Aly waved at him from the door as he drove off, once he was out of her eye sight she turned and unlocked the door, still smiling.

"Aly?" Sierra called out when she heard the front door shut, "That you?"

"It's me," she almost sang in response, slowly following the voice.

"So," Sierra hummed when her sister sat down on the couch next to her, "How'd it go?"

Aly pulled at the ends of her hair, braiding them with a smile, avoiding eye contact with her sister, "Good."
