Aly's eyes went wide the familiar deep voice.
"Can I come in?"
"No," Aly shot him down immediately as she sat up looking around the room. It was cleaned up, her dirty clothes were in her hamper, her desk was organized, everything in neat piles, the bowl of soup was gone, she assumed Sierra had come in a cleaned when she fell asleep.
"Aly please, you haven't answered my texts in days," Calum leaned against the closed door.
"Fine," Aly pulled the hood of her jacket up over her head to try and hide more, "Just know this isn't me."
Calum pushed open the door, "Hey," he softly smiled at her.
"Hi," Aly half smiled, adjusting the blanket in her lap.
"How are you feeling?" he asked.
"They told you?"
"All Luke said was that your sick," Calum explained, coming over to the bed, sitting on the edge next to her.
"Yeah, keep your distance," Aly tried to joke. She could feel her meds starting to slightly kick in.
"I'll let you rest then," he patted her leg which was still under her covers.
"Thank you"
"I'll call you later?" he stood up.
Aly just nodded with a soft smile.
"Feel better soon so you can come over," he kissed her forehead before leaving the room.
Aly slid back down the bed once the door shut.
TWO DAYS LATER
Aly didn't even have time to process before all the lights in her room were flicked on and her black out curtains were pulled open but there was no sunshine yet.
"I know you're gonna hate me but we're getting up today," Sierra announced as she pulled off Aly's covers.
"No, please," Aly groaned, pulling up the edges of her pillow to cover her face.
"C'mon, Aly," Sierra pulled tried to pull her sister up by her hands, "Just one step at a time."
Aly reluctantly sat up, "No."
"You have no choice," Sierra left her sitting there to go grab clothes for her sister.
"I called Ash, since I know you won't talk to me, and you don't want to call Dr. Mae, maybe you'll talk to him or not, I don't care," Sierra set a pair of black leggings and a matching black tank top on the bed, "At least be around someone you enjoy, get some fresh air, blah blah blah."
Aly just looked up at her sister, "The suns not even up yet."
She knew her sister wasn't trying to be mean, she was just trying to help but her miss wired brain didn't want the help. It just wanted to stay in bed all day.
"Shower, I'll help you do your hair, and make up if you want, but I'm gonna make some breakfast while you shower. And then Ash will be here in an hour," Sierra stood with her hands on her hips.
