After stoping for food where Ashton and Aly talked about everything from his secret projects, that he promised to share with her before the rest of the world. She expressed her anxieties about moving to a new city with no job or plan. He was finally dropping her at Sierra and Luke's house.

"Thank you," Aly smiled as the two hugged.

"Of course!" he smiled giving her one last squeeze, "Let me know about Thursday!"

"I will," Aly nodded as they separated.

Ashton got back in his car, to rush off to a meeting as Aly made her way to the front door, letting herself in.

"Sierra?" she called out.

"You're here!" her sister squealed from somewhere in house. A second later an excited Sierra hopped around the corner, rushing at her sister for a hug.

"I've missed you too," Aly giggled into her sisters hair, squeezing her tightly.

"I'm so happy you're here!"

The two sisters stepped apart.

"How was your flight?"

"It was good, but I'm ready to sleep," Aly sighed dramatically. She had been up at three am east coast time and it was now almost five pm west coast time.

"You know where the room is," Sierra teased her sister.

"Fine then," Aly stuck her tongue out at her, reaching for one of her suitcases.

Sierra reached for the other bags, following her sister, "Do you want anything to eat?"

"I don't know," Aly laughed at the situation.

Aly started up the stairs, suitcase in hand, "Where's Luke?"

"Studio," Sierra huffed, caring the heavier suitcases, "Jesus, what's in here? An elephant?"

"My shoes," Aly groaned, pulling the suitcase up the final step, dramatically leaning on the suitcase, looking down at her sister, "Can we order a pizza?"

"Oh hell yeah," her sister nodded, paused in the middle of the staircase.

A WEEK LATER

Aly sat in a coffee shop, her laptop in front of her as she applied for jobs for the fourth day in a row.

She picked the chocolate chips from the muffin in front of her as her eyes read another job description. She ran her hand through her dark hair as she leaned forward, tapping her foot along to the music playing.

"Calum!"

Aly's spine straightened, she slowly looked over at the ended of the counter, where she had picked up her own drink hours ago.

She watched his tall figure go for the coffee and turn around away from her, starting towards the door.

Look at me, look at me, look at me, she chanted in her head watching him go to open the door. She wasn't far from his line of sight, only a few feet to his right.
