The next morning Aly woke up before Calum, a rare site, and started to cook breakfast for him. She put the cinnamon rolls in the oven and fried up some eggs and bacon.

By the time she was done, Calum still wasn't up and she didn't want to wake him. She wondered the house, exploring the extra rooms they hadn't seen yet. She didn't make it far before she noticed the large grand piano in a doorless room.

Aly took a seat at the piano, pushing back the key cover, she smiled as a song popped in her head. She adjusted herself properly in front of the piano, slowly starting to play. She started humming the melody.

She got about half way through the song when someone cleared their throat be side her. Aly froze, looking at the door way. Calum stood there, shirtless, hands behind his back, he made his way over to her. He adjusted his seating so he could play the same keys she had been.

"Hopelessly," he smirked at her.

Aly smiled and stared playing the notes on her side, "Devoted," she sang. They had watched Grease the night before and the song had been stuck in her head all morning.

"To you," they both san. Calum's voice cracked, still raspy from sleep. They both burst into tears laughing.

"Oh my god!" He laughed.

They both calmed themselves, Aly spoke first, "Good morning, birthday boy," she leaned over and kissed his cheek, "I made you breakfast!"

"Thank you," he smiled at her.

They made their way into the kitchen where Aly plated food for both of them.

"Hey," Calum looked up at Aly, his voice was soft and gentle, "Did you take your meds?"

Aly nodded, with a soft smile, "I did."

"What do you want to do today?" Aly asked as she picked at the cinnamon roll on her plate.

Calum just shrugged with a mouth full of food.

"Well it's your day, so it's up to you," she smiled.

Calum just wanted to stay in and be with her, it was still rainy outside, the clouds were low. They watched TV, drank tea, cuddled on the couch.

Aly currently stood in the small kitchen of their rental house, mixing up some chocolate cake batter.

"Extra chocolate chips or extra extra chocolate chips?" Aly asked holding the bag of chocolate chips.
