... Kristina sighed as she sat in class, feeling a sense of heaviness. Marinette noticed and joined her, asking, "Hey Kristina, what's going on?" Kristina responded with a tired smile, saying, "Hey Mari." Alya joined them as well, and Kristina greeted her with a grin, saying, "Hey Alya." Alya replied, "Hey Kris." Marinette then opened up about her own struggles, saying, "My mother is busy, my father is out of town, and my sisters hate me." Kristina comforted her, saying, "Mari..." Marinette interrupted, saying, "Kris..." Marinette continued, "My life is just as hard as yours. I'm Ladybug, the hero of Paris, the guardian who can't even do her damn job. My sisters hate me, except for McKenzie." Kristina shared her own pain, saying, "Mari, my father won't even talk to me." McKenzie chimed in, saying, "Kris, my parents are selfish. They have favorites, and I'm not one of them." Marinette expressed her frustration, saying, "It sucks." McKenzie nodded in agreement, adding, "Duh, you're the smarter twin." Marinette responded, "And you're the prettier twin." Adrienne interjected, "The prettier twin is the favorite in our family." Marinette argued, "Then I'm with Agreste." Kristina pulled out her phone, her eyes widening. "Father?" Marinette asked. "Kris, who is that?" Kristina replied, "It's my father." Marinette exclaimed, "Adrien, your father is calling my phone!" Adrien urged, "Answer it, it's important." Adrien said, "M'Lady." Marinette responded, "I'm doing it." Marinette answered the call, saying, "Hello, Dad." Gabriel stated, "Marinette, we need a female model to be Adrien's girlfriend, and that's you." Marinette agreed, "Yes, Dad." Marinette continued, "Did I eat too much?" Adrien reassured her, "M'Lady, you look beautiful, and no, you followed my diet." Marinette sighed in relief, "Oh, thank God, or else you would kick me out." Adrien quickly responded, "M'Lady, no, never." Adrienne chimed in, "Mari, father chose you for a reason," with a comforting tone.
With a questioning tone, Kristina asked, "Hello, father?" Mr. Felton responded, "Kristina, let's meet at the café during lunch." Kristina nodded and asked, "Can my friends join us, father?" Mr. Felton replied, "Madeline, yes." Kristina clarified, "The whole group?" Mr. Felton affirmed, "Of course, Kristina."
At the café Alex waited patiently for his daughter and her friends to arrive at the cafe. Suddenly, he spotted a girl with blue hair and approached her. "Excuse me, Miss," he said to her. "Is this the cafe where a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes told me to meet her?" The girl, who introduced herself as Marinette, replied, "Oh, that's me. Please have a seat, Mr. Alex." Just as Alex sat down, Kristina and the rest of the group entered the cafe. Kristina rushed to hug her father, while Alya greeted him, saying, "Mr. Felton, it's been so long." Alex corrected her, saying, "Please, just call me Alex, Alya." Andre then entered the cafe and Chloé exclaimed, "Dad! Hey!" Andre greeted her in return. Chloé quickly informed them, "Chloé, Cole, and Claudette got into an accident." Marinette asked anxiously, "Is Marin in that car?" Andre nodded, and McKenzie expressed her frustration, saying, "Ugh, seriously!?" Marinette sighed and wondered about her own son, asking Savannah, "How about yours?" Savannah assured her, "No, he's in his own car. He's actually really responsible." Marinette couldn't help but comment, "If only ours were responsible!" Chloé questioned Claudette, "What were you thinking!?" Claudette replied, "Aren't you going to visit us!?" Clyde intervened, scolding them, "Claudette Amber Bourgeois, absolutely not! Having a 21 and 19-year-old in the same car while arguing is absolutely ridiculous. Grow up, you two!" Marinette quickly texted Melissa, asking, 'Lis, is M okay?' Melissa responded, 'Yep.' Marinette let out a sigh of relief and informed the group, "Okay, M is okay. He's just broken a leg and is on crutches." Clyde added, "Cole is in critical condition, while Claudie is fine." Just then, Simon entered the cafe and Clyde informed him, "Hey, Clyde, Savannah forgot her phone and wallet." Savannah gratefully took them from Simon, saying, "Thanks, Simon."
