Landon was in bed with his wife Savannah Cardwood and thought of the time she thought he was a selfish douche
...
Landon expressed, "My love," as Savannah removed her glasses. "Yes, honey," Savannah responded. Landon continued, "Remember when you called me a selfish douche? I almost got akumatized." Savannah kissed him and admitted, "I know I was foolish back then." She sighed and kissed her husband again, saying, "But look at us now." Landon replied, "My love, did you truly mean it when you called me a selfish entitled douche, even though it's clear that you're rich?" Savannah replied, "Firstly, you bullied my best friend for ten years, and no, I never meant that." Landon understood, "I understand how it felt to live Adrien's life, but at least I got to go to school." Savannah shared her perspective, "I had a life similar to Adrien's. I was taken out of school for three years and then put back into a class I didn't know." Landon snuggled closer to Savannah and asked, "My love, why did you choose me instead of Damon?" Savannah responded, "Damon already has Rosalie."*Flashback*
15-year-old Savannah walked confidently through the halls of her new school, Francois Dupont. She had recently become friends with Marinette McKenzie and their group of friends. As they walked, they noticed Landon, Leah, Kristina, and Madeline looking lost."Savannah, do you know where Miss Bustier's class is?" Savannah asked.
"Oh, you're in me and Alya's class," Leah replied.
"Sav! We missed you," Landon exclaimed.
"Alya wouldn't forgive me, considering her stubbornness," Savannah admitted.
"Well, no surprise there. You were a bit of a jerk," Alya chimed in, joining them with Marinette.
"L-Landon?" Marinette stuttered, clearly surprised.
"Sav, what the heck?" Savannah questioned.
"Landon Cardwood, the biggest jerk," Marinette added.
"Um, I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the class president," Kristina introduced herself.
"Kristina Felton," Madeline followed.
"Madeline Lancelot," Leah said.
"I'm Leah Walter. Wait, don't you own a bakery?" Marinette asked.
"Yep, and you're the Walter Bakers, right?" Leah confirmed, nodding.
"Best-selling cookies," Marinette laughed.
"Macaroon?" Leah offered, and Marinette eagerly took one.
"And you make the best macaroons," Leah laughed.
"Leah and Mari get along so well," Alya commented.
"Als, I'm stealing your best friend," Leah joked.
"Sure, go ahead and steal her," Alya teased.
"Let's go," Savannah said, her tone filled with excitement.
Marinette strolled into the classroom as everyone spun around. "Hey guys, we have some new students from Paris Valley High," McKenzie announced. "Leah Walter, Kristina Felton, Landon Cardwood, and Madeline Lancelot."
"Wait, is that Landon Cardwood, the famous model?" Adrien exclaimed. "Yo, Landon, what's up?"
Marinette playfully kissed Adrien on the cheek. "I'm right here, silly," she teased. Adrien grinned and kissed her back.
Savannah interjected, "Adrien, he's a jerk."
Landon responded, "Savannah! Can't you move on? That happened five years ago. Yes, I deeply regret hurting Alya. It pains me every day, and I even despise myself for it."
Alya spoke up, "Landon."
Landon turned towards Alya. "I'm sorry, Alya. I genuinely regret my actions."
Alya smiled. "It's-"
Savannah interrupted, "Not fine."
Alya retorted, "What is your problem? Landon is trying to change, and yet you still hold a grudge against him for something he did years ago?"
Marinette was taken aback, her voice filled with urgency. "Landon, wait!" Alya and Marinette hurriedly dashed out in search of Landon. "I-I suppose I'm just not capable of changing," Marinette admitted, her voice filled with disappointment. "No, I believe in you. Look, my classmates and I had a disagreement regarding my former bully, Chloé Bourgeois, and I know she can change," Landon reassured her. "B-But I'm not Chloé," Chloé interjected, appearing and muttering about the situation being utterly ridiculous. "Hey! What did you just say?" Chloé rolled her eyes. "Savannah, she's simply being ridiculous!" Alya nodded in agreement. "I care for her deeply, but if she's not allowing you to become a better person, then so be it," Chloé declared. "Landon, I see the potential for change in you," Landon expressed. "How did you manage to change your ways?" Chloé inquired. "Marinette and Alya, they truly are the best," Marinette proudly stated. "Chloé, come on," Alya chimed in. "Mari, let her give us credit," Marinette chuckled. "Alright, no Akuma, that's a relief," Landon laughed. "I want to catch up, Césaire," Alya declared. "Hmm, not happening!" Marinette laughed. "I'm going to tell Nino you're cheating on him!" Alya teased. "Oh, just hush!"
Savannah took a seat, her expression filled with guilt over her actions. She murmured, "What if Alya and I aren't friends anymore? Ugh, you're so stupid!" Alya reassured her, saying, "Sav, it's alright. I forgive you." Savannah let out a sigh of relief and embraced her friend.
*End of flashback*
With a loving tone, Landon gazed into his wife's eyes. "You are the love of my life, my beautiful wife," he declared. Savannah playfully grinned and responded, "What if I don't feel the same?" Landon smirked mischievously and replied, "Well, then I'll have to tickle you until you do." Savannah teasingly retorted, "Oh, my dear ugly husband, I love you too." Landon's grin widened as he tickled her, but quickly reassured her, "I'm just joking, my love." Savannah chuckled and said, "Alright, alright. I love you, my handsome husband!"
