Katherine drops my hand and takes a couple of steps away from me when a group of people look at our side and shout out.

"Queen!"

"Katherine!"

"Kat!"

Katherine walks over to them quickly and a guy with tattoos wraps an arm around her. I'm standing where she left me and watching the group's greeting exchange with shock. Who are they? Are these her friends? I spot Diana standing there with them, her eyes darting from Katherine to me. She's also waiting for Katherine's reaction and hopefully my introduction.

"We missed you!" A girl exclaims and bumps her hip to Katherine's.

"What are you doing here?" Katherine asks. Although she's standing with her back to me, I can hear the shakiness in her voice. She's nervous.

"Surprise." Another guy says and I think I heard him before.

"Let's get our usuals." The girl next to Katherine says and they walk into the coffee shop.

Katherine doesn't even look at me while following them into the place with that guy's shoulder around her. Diana gives me an apologetic smile and also follows them.

What the fuck did just happen?

Is she seriously hiding our relationship...

Katherine and her secrets. Katherine and her games. I love her. I love her so much, but this is crazy. She's with those guys and they don't even know that she's in a fucking relationship. Jealousy creeps in and I feel like killing someone or that guy. I fucking accepted the fact that she had a boyfriend, Logan that is, and didn't press her for answers because she might not want to talk about her ex with me. But fuck if this isn't confusing.

I realize that I'm still standing here while she's there sitting with her friends, casually laughing at their jokes. I don't know what kind of an explanation she's going to come up with, but she better tell me one. I walk back to the car park to get away from here.

"Chris!" I hear her call after me and I turn around to look at the girl who I love more than anything in the world, but is hiding so much from me.
