"Be gone be...BONE!!" This monster chaises after the group he swung his arms up and hit Deuce, ace turned around looking annoyed with one hand holding a dazed Shizuoka hand
"Aw crap he's got loosey-Deucey on the ropes! Not on my watch! heeyah!" He takes out his pen and uses wind magic to try and push the monster away
"Rrrrooarrghhh!" It didn't work as he charges at ace slamming him into the floor taking Shizuoka with him and grim tries to get to shizu but is blocked by the monster
"Myaaah! Stay away from me!" He yelled afraid and uses his flames on the monster
"Grrrrahhhhhhh!" It did nothing to the monster it was like he was indestructible slowly Shizuoka started blinking snapping out of her daze she looked around at the situation
"It's like nothing's even hurtin' it!" Grim yelled out confused shizuoka eyes land on something...shiny
"What's that?" Was all she's said pointing at the object ace look to where she was pointing
"Hey behind the monster! There's something sparkling in the mine shaft!" Ace yelled out to everyone
"Could that have been the megastone!?" Deuce yelled out but in saying that it made the monster even more mad
"GWAAAAAAAA!!! Nooooo giiive yoooooou stoneeeeee!" The monster yelled even louder causing Shizuoka to cover her ears as memories of times long since past flashed through her mind
".........grumpy?" Was all she whispered out grim floats over to her grabbing her by the shoulder trying to force her up and out
"Shizu we need to book it and fast, that things gonna pound us into tuna paste!" Shizuoka instincts finally kicked in and she yelled
"Retreat!!" As they ran from the cave Shizuoka looked back at the 'monster' but for a spit second in time the once fierce monster appeared as nothing' more than a small man with a long grey beard and a bald head crying without his hat

"Help.....shizu" it was but a whisper which only shizuoka could hear but not sooner had she heard that she was out the cave

They all ran from the caves as fast as their legs could carry then with shizuoka being in somewhat a daze
"This should be far enough, I think?" Grim said between breaths as he looked back to double check
"Owwwww... what was that thing? No one said there's be anything like that!" Ace said rubbing his stomach
"That was no normal ghost that's for sure" deuce said crossing his arms
"Hey you okay?" Ace said looking at Shizuoka she blinked and looked up her blue eyes a bit hollow
"Oh I'm fine just...thought I saw something.." she said looking back into the cave she then shook her head and pushed her glasses back up
"Let's just give up and go home I'll happily take the expulsion if it means never having to fight that thing again" ace said and Shizuoka nods, life Is way more important that schoolwork
"What?! Nuh-uh! Not happenin'! I'd rather die than get expelled from night raven!" Deuce said fired up

"Pfff big talk from someone who's not even half the mage I am you want that stone so bad, go get it yourself, I'm out." All Shizuoka could do in that moment was slam her hand into her forehead she may not have known then long but from what she did known was that deuce would 100% do that
"Oh yeah!! Fine go back to your coop you big chicken!!!" Deuce said to ace grim and Shizuoka looked at each other one in fear the other in disappointment
"Whaaaaat?! Who're you callin chicken, huh?!" Ace fired back as of right now shizuoka was half tempted to just grab grim and leave
"Whoa deuce...is it just me or did you, like turn into a totally different person just now?" Grim said floating around them
"Huh?! *cough* *cough* sorry... lost my cool for a second there" deuce said snapping out of his rage Shizuoka finally had enough
"Okay now that everyone has calmed down let's think logically what the next move is here as we all know magic has limits and nothing seemed to work on him" ace and deuce nods
"Your right magic has limits and if we over use it it's not gonna help anyone" deuce said thinking
"Using magic at a greater scale or using different types of magic those things require training" deuce said ace then looks at Shizuoka

"Remember the time I was about to burn the statue your magic seriously saved us and all your knowledge about magical artefacts not to mention your unique magic you have skills and knowledge why not help?" Shizuoka gave a sigh he had a point out of them she was the most trained...but this came at a price as all magic does
"Anyway we need to defeat that creature and get the megastone." Deuce said
"Yeeaaahhh just like the time with the chandelier right? You 'found some way' and now here we are" ace said
"We just fought that thing and it totally creamed us and Shizuoka was...out of it so what exactly is your plan genius? Because I sure don't trust you to improvise!" Ace...had a point but he could've worded it better
"What?! Your the one who-" deuce said looking about ready to puch ace
"Okay that's enough!!!!" Shizuoka yelled out her eyes slowly changing

"Now you two idiots listen here as cheesy as this sounds the only way to stop him is to work together" ace and deuce immediately looked disgusted
"Us work together?!" They said in unison
"Yes together each one of us has a skill we bring to help us fight it's like in battle everyone works together to defeat a enemy now if you guys don't have any ideas I might have one" ace grim and deuce gulped and listened
