Falls

It was a different morning than city mornings. The comfy surroundings, morning fog, the scent of the province, and the green moisty grass. It feels far and away unlike in the city. The morning hits hard, damang-dama mo ang pakiramdam ng tahimik na lugar sa probinsya.

I woke up much earlier than what time I woke up in the condo. The atmosphere here was better than the usual one I woke up with. I feel more energized and more motivated to move and exercise.

It was already 6 AM when I got up. Ace wasn't beside me as I woke up. I stretched my arms as soon as I sat down on the mattress. My head feels heavy because of the alcohol we consumed yesterday night. I admit, it's fun too, despite the consequences and regrets. Ika nga nila, nasa huli ang pagsisisi.

Pero nasa huli pa naman. Enjoy muna.

Saya-saya lang before magdusa.

Dahan-dahan akong tumayo at bumaba sa hagdan. All of them were still sleeping, sobrang himbing. Sol and Benj were on the one sleeping on the bed. Sol was resting his head on Benj's chest as they were sleeping. In short, they were cuddling.

Nang idako ko naman ang tingin ko sa iba, Zax and Wallace were also doing the same. They were also cuddling! Halos walang pinagbago sa posisyon. And well, there's Ray on the other side, sleeping while hugging a pillow. They looked so peaceful and comfortable kaya iniwan ko muna.

I managed to get away from the cabin while my head was still throbbing from pain. Suot-suot ko lang ang isang longsleeve at sweatpants kahit mahamog pa sa labas. Tanda ko pang hinubad ko ang hoodie nung madaling araw dahil nainitan din naman ako. Masyado akong balot na parang burrito.

Mumukat-mukat pa ako habang naghahanap kay Ace sa paligid. I'm sure he's just around here. Hindi naman siguro 'yon lalayo.

While walking, I heard a splash of water nearby. Hindi pa ako nakakalapit nang maigi pero nanggagaling 'yon sa may pool area. Naglakad naman ako papunta ro'n. Hindi naman ako nabigo nang makita ko siya ro'n, swimming on the 5 ft to 6 ft meters pool. Nakalubog pa siya sa tubig kaya hindi niya pa naramdaman ang presensya ko. I sat on one of the platform and put my feet on water as I watched him swim.

Naalala ko tuloy yung nangyari kahapon. He's sulking because he can't get close to me. Naglalaro kasi kami kahapon and we're rivals of course. Pinaghiwalay talaga kami dahil puro raw kami landi. I mean, we can't help it?

Ace was so cute yesterday. Nagpipilit talaga siyang lumipat ng team kahit assigned na. Nung assigned na naman, pasimple siyang pumupunta sa team namin. Kaya nahihila rin siya agad ng mga kateam niya.

Inaaway na rin siya kaya bumabalik din agad. He was just sulking the whole time, pero they still managed to win.

Natanaw ko naman si Ace na naglalangoy papunta sa direksyon ko. He probably noticed my presence just now. Medyo lutang pa ako dahil bagong gising lang. Nakarating naman siya sa harapan ko, instantly putting both of his hands beside me.
