"Hey guys" Jacob greeted "These are my roommates Arno and Eivor". Arno and Eivor gave a small wave to the girls. Arno noticed the redhead and thought she looked familiar.

"Wait, don't you have a fourth roommate?" Evie asked.

"Yeah, but He's older and a little bit more unstable than the rest of us" Eivor butted in.

A look of concern hit Evie's face "oh okay, anyway here are my roommates Elise, Aveline, and Maria." The three girls smiled and waved at them.

"I'm sorry, do I know you, Elise? You look really familiar. I'm from Paris by the way" Arno asked.

"My dad's in politics in Paris and I went to the Versailles Private School so you might have heard of the La Serre family or seen me if you went to school in the area," Elise said, intrigued that she might know someone from back home.

"Oh yeah, my dad works in politics also so that's where I know you from!" Arno exclaimed. He remembered seeing her family in passing at formal dinners and whatnot. "We should go get a coffee or something and talk about Paris".

"I would like that it would be nice to make even more friends!" Elise said. Happy that he was from back home and she now had another friend. Yeah, friends Arno sadly thought to himself. Eivor noticed the poor French man was trying to ask her out but it just seemed to be going over her head.

The group started heading over to the auditorium where the welcome weekend would start. Welcome weekend was a campus-wide event that helped freshmen and transfer students get situated, and learn about the clubs and social events on campus. They would first meet at the auditorium and then after the presentation go to the main quad and meet and see the different clubs. Everyone got in and settled in as the director of student life came up to the main stage and started talking.

"Hello everyone my name is Aya and I am the director of student life. I'm here to help get students involved and make sure organizations are following rules. We have plenty of clubs and organizations to get involved in. Some are free to join while others can cost money such as our fraternity's The Brotherhood and the Templars. You can also create your own clubs here if you do some paperwork and talk to me about it." As Aya said this Jacob's eyes lit up. "When you leave, please make sure to go to the main quad and talk to the student organizations!" As Aya wrapped up, students started leaving and heading to the main quad.

"Guys!" Jacob said excitedly "I'm starting a club called the rooks!" The group looked at him confused.

"Like a chess club?" Maria asked.

"Jacob! You are not starting a club called the rooks! You already have soccer to focus on and classes" Evie stated. Jacob pouted at Evie but he knew he was going to create his club. Everyone then headed out to the main quad. It was a space with an academic building on each end and a huge lawn where several clubs and organizations had set up their booths.

"Hey, we should look into the brotherhood. I read that joining a frat is a great way to get involved plus the one here is pretty good" Suggested Arno.

"Or we should look at the templars. My dad was one in college and I want to follow in his footsteps" Elise countered.

"My boyfriend is a templar so I'm joining!" Maria announced walking over to the templar booth.

"Well, I'm glad someone has some sense" Elise approved as she walked over to the booth. As the girls made their way to the booth Jacob saw Demios was one of the templar leaders.

"I'm sorry but if Demios is a leader over there, no way in hell am I joining them" Jacob stated.

"Amen to that I'll join you Jacob" Evior quipped
