Chapter 15

Halloween was fast approaching which meant it was time for Costume shopping. The girls were all in their dorm hanging out.

"So where do we need to go costume shopping," Evie asked while typing at her computer to look for a store.

"I would say Spirit Halloween they have everything!" exclaimed Aveline, "But I'm making my costume"

"Well not all of us are insanely talented so we need to buy cheap knockoffs. What is Spirit Halloween by the way?" Maria asked interested. She wishes she could make clothes like Aveline but sewing was not her specialty.

"So Spirit Halloween appears for like two months at a closed retail place and sells literally anything Halloween related" Aveline explained.

"Wait, hang on, a store appears and then just leaves?" Elise asked, confused.

"Yeah" replied Aveline.

"Well let's go! I'll text the group chats about our plans!" Evie smiled typing on her phone. Everyone agreed and once again piled into Aveline's SUV and drove to Spirit Halloween. The entire time everyone chatted about what they wanted to do or be for Halloween. Luckily there were no aux cord problems and Jacob behaved himself. They finally arrived at the store and everyone disembarked.

"This place is so cool!" Jacob practically screamed while touching an animatronic crow that squawked at him. There were Halloween decorations everywhere along with rows of costumes.

"Well, let's look around!" Elise suggested. Everyone started looking at the costumes and the mask.

"Ohh what if we all dress up as Crayons" laughed Jacob holding up a Crayon costume. Everyone just rolled their eyes and carried on.

"You know I think I'm going to Erik from Phantom of the Opera," Arno said, holding a mask and examining it.

"Wait whose Erik?" Elise asked, looking at Arno.

"You know the Phantom" Arno replied shocked and hurt that his crush had no idea who he was going to be. Elise just shrugged and went on her way.

"I like this Horse Skeleton mask" Eivor commented holding it up. "I think I think I'll find a black cloak and hood then call it a day"

"Smart to keep simple" Maria added "I like this Courtesan Outfit" Maria held it up. It was green and had a crop top and bottoms with gold and jewels everywhere.

"Wow, scandalous I wonder what Altair will think" teased Elise, raising her eyebrows and smirking.

"Oh please" Maria rolled her eyes "I just want to look sexy. Halloween is when you bring your inner whore out" and if she caught Altair's attention that would just be a plus.

"Well, I think I'm going to be a pirate" Elise held up a pirate costume. It was a white crop top, a vest, striped pants, and a belt.

"It's so cute how you guys are picking outfits when I'm making mine" boasted Aveline. She loved making costumes, especially for Halloween.

"What are you doing then?" Maria asked.

"I'm going to be a Voodoo priestess," smiled Aveline. She was proud this was going to be one of the best outfits yet and it reminded her of New Orleans.

"Be careful you don't want to invoke spirits" Evie warned.

"Oh my god, Evie calm down". Laughed Jacob. His sister was so pretentious will all these spirits and ghosts.

"Oh, says the guy who pissed off a ghost and got lifted a few feet in the air" exasperated Evie. She had no idea why her brother just couldn't believe. "Anyway, Jacob and I still need costumes. I still have no idea what I want to be"
