Everything is Due ; Nothing is submitted

Chapter 3

The next morning the girls got ready except for Maria as she was still sleeping.

"What time did Maria get in last night?" Elise asked.

"She got in around 2:30 or so she was kinda loud on my side," Evie said.

"Well should we wake her then" Elise responded as she was brushing her hair out and applying lip gloss.

"Nah I say we leave a note," Aveline said, grabbing her keys. It was agreed Aveline would drive since she was the only one here with a car. Luckily, she drove a huge SUV that everyone would cram into. The girls made their way to the lobby and saw the boys waiting on them. As they made their way to Aveline's car Jacob hollered "I call shotgun and DJ!"

"Um no Jacob I need someone to read directions not blaring music," Aveline said. It was agreed to be Eivor since Evie could have road rage issues even in the passenger seat. Arno gets car sick and Elise just didn't want to. They all started getting into the car with Evie getting to the back and Elise sitting in the middle row. Arno saw this and started to sit next to Elise until Jacob cut him off to get next to Elise.

"I'm sorry but I can't sit next to Evie. I sat next to her for eight hours on a plane the other night." Jacob declared. Evie gave him a look of annoyance.

"You slept for those eight hours!" Evie retorted "Here Arno just sit next to me I don't bite even if Jacob's implying that". Arno just kinda stood there for a second annoyed that he couldn't sit next to Elise.

"What's the big deal? Arno just sit back there" Elise said. Arno wanted to say something but just sighed. Eivor once again noticed that poor Arno could just not catch a break with the redhead. They all decided to go to Target first and get dorm stuff and some groceries. Then would all head to Costco for all the bigger stuff, even more groceries, and of course free lunch. No one had heard of Costco except for Aveline since she was the only American student. They all then made it to Target with a few minor hiccups and a few wrong turns. Everyone got out and made their way into the store.

"I have composed a list of what we need," Evie exclaimed, holding up a piece of paper.

Just as she held it up Jacob snatched it up, grabbed a buggy, and started drifting on it.
"C'mon guys!" Jacob said riding the buggy ahead of them all. Ethan had given Evie and Jacob $500 each for dorm stuff and groceries. Evie of course was figuring out what to buy and what to save on whereas Jacob found the electronics section. "Okay that's it, I'm buying a TV!" He exclaimed looking at a massive tv.

"You're going to blow all your money on a tv?" Evie asked, annoyed especially since this thing was massive and expensive.

"Um we need this, imagine watching sports and movie nights together" Eivor chimed in.

"Aww, man movie night would be great! I love a good romcom or musical" Arno said looking over at Elise hoping she liked romcoms or musicals so they could maybe watch them together.

"Oh, I'm not really into romcoms or musicals but I love a good action movie or series! Game of Thrones would be so cool to watch on this TV," Elise added. Arno looked dejected at this and once again Eivor noticed but everyone else continued about the tv.

"Arno, I like musicals. I don't mind watching them with you. Hey, maybe once a week we could all watch something together." Aveline suggested.

"Alright, it's decided I'm buying the tv!" Jacob declared. Evie told Jacob she, Aveline, and Elise would continue shopping while the tv was getting purchased by the boys. The girls headed off to the kitchen section to get plates, pots, and utensils for their room. Once they were out of earshot and Jacob was purchasing the tv Eivior turned to Arno.
