Finals week was here at Davenport. Everyone was tired and stressed. Evie and Jacob decided to help each other study at the library. Jacob knew Evie could hold him responsible and Evie knew Jacob could keep her grounded. Evie stopped at the student union to get hot tea for her and Jacob. As she was walking to the library and the cold winter air hit her, she thought about how much she has grown in the semester. She had joined a great fraternity, made amazing and loyal friends, and possibly had a future love interest who was hopefully working tonight. Evie smiled as she walked into the library. The library on the outside looked old but, on the inside, it was modernized and cozy. Evie took the stairs to the bottom floor where all the study sessions happened. She got to the bottom and saw Jacob with his hands on his head looking at his computer screen panicked.

"Jacob are you okay?" Evie got to the table and put the teas on the table and dropped her bag off.

Jacob looked up at her "Evie everything is due and nothing is submitted." He thought he was doing well this semester but his assignment list on Canvas said otherwise.

"Oh, Jacob...let me see if I can help" Evie sat next to him and looked at his assignments that are due. "Okay can we can work with this? What about the economic project? Where you run an economy" Evie saw that the Econ project was due for a gen ed econ class.

"Evie, I tried but I kept crashing the economy. Econ sucks ass" Jacob groaned. His Professor Philip Twopenny was one of the worse professors.

"Okay what about your class with Dr. Disraeli" Evie pointed out an assignment that looked easy.

Jacob took a deep breath "Okay I guess we can start with that one." Jacob and Evie started and got most of the assignments done within two hours. It was not as much work as Jacob thought it just looked awful. After that, Jacob helped quiz Evie for a history class. The twins were bouncing off one another getting a lot of studying done. They also calculated what they might end with. Evie was ending with a 4.0 GPA and Jacob might end with a 3.2 GPA which he was very happy about.

"I just can believe our first semester is over. It went by so fast!" Evie exclaimed. She felt like she and Jacob just got here.

"I know but I'm ready for a break. When does our flight leave again?" Jacob was nervous about going back to Crawly. He and his dad did not always have a great relationship Jacob was just so glad he had his sister.

"It leaves Friday morning and we should arrive in Crawly around 5 pm. Maria is also joining us since her family is from Leicester" Evie explained. She was so excited to be traveling back home and that Maria was joining.

"Thank god someone else to bother besides me" Jacob smiled leaned back and put his feet on the table.

Evie then hit Jacob with her notebook "be nice" Jacob rolled his eyes.

"Hey maybe we can catch a train with Maria and go to Paris and see Arno and Elise" Jacob suggested. The less he was with his dad the better.

"You know Jacob Frye that might be one of your best ideas. Let's do it!" Evie would love to see her friends over the break especially if the break was a month long.

"Great I'll get tickets. But anyway, I have a final at 8 am tomorrow and it's already 10 pm and if I want to do well, I'm going to sleep. Are you joining?" Jacob asked as he collected his stuff.

"Probably not I still have about one or two more things to do" Evie responded. Jacob nodded and headed off. Evie then looked at her laptop and started her English paper. As she was writing and the hours ticked by, she finally was about to snap looking at her screen. She then pushed her laptop out of the way and rested her head on the desk. She told herself five minutes.
