Chapter 5

An obnoxious blaring noise kept going off Evie was still trying to sleep and then she remembered she had class! It was currently 6:30 am she had intro to creative writing at 8 am perfect she had time to get ready and eat. She got dressed and put on a nice skirt and a sleek-looking jacket. She applied a little lipstick and made her way out to the living area to get breakfast.

"Good morning!" Elise chirped as she put a spoonful of Lucky Charms into her mouth. Aveline and Maria were still sleeping since they had classes later in the day.

"Morning" Evie responded and made a cup of tea "so what classes do you have today?"

"I only have two. I have intro to coms with Professor Marquis and Chem 101 with Dr. Jensen." The girls chatted some more about how they thought their day was going to go.

"Well, I better head to class! Good luck" Evie hurried off to the English building.

Evie got to class and found a seat towards the front. The English building was nice. The outside had a nice colonial look while the inside was modern. The campus itself was very old looking but all the buildings were nice on the inside.

"Evie I'm glad to see you! How have you been doing?" Henry walked in holding his stuff. He was handsome with a nice complexion and long dark hair. Evie wondered what it was like to rub her fingers through his hair.

"I'm good, I like it here so far! I can't wait to go to the library and I'm thinking of joining the Brotherhood." Evie was glad Henry was in her class. Henry was a fun person to talk to despite Jacob saying he seemed boring.

"Oh, I'm in the Brotherhood. I don't do as much as others but I enjoy it nevertheless." Henry was so happy she wanted to join the Brotherhood instead of the Templars. Evie seemed like a nice person and he was excited to get to know her better.

"Do you know how Recruitment will go?" Evie was very curious about this. Everyone seemed so secretive about it.

"I can't tell you much but I will say I am helping so no worries about not knowing anyone!" Henry would not dare say anything about recruitment; it was something everyone had to go through. As the pair were talking, Dr. Dickens walked in. He was one of the best writers and teachers at Davenport. Evie liked her class and the people in it. The class then ended and Evie gave Henry her number so they could help each other and maybe it could lead to something else. She wondered how Jacob was doing...

Meanwhile
The most annoying sound in human history was going on. What the hell is going on Jacob thought and then it hit him it was time for school! He jumped out of bed and saw it was 7:30 am and class was at 8am. Shit, he thought to himself. He threw on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt and hurried into the kitchen to make a hot pocket. As he hurried into the kitchen Eivor and Arno were sitting there confused as to why Jacob was a human hurricane.

"Are you good Jacob?" Arno asked worriedly as to why this man was moving at the speed of light.

"I have class I gotta go! Ahhahah hot!" Jacob was spitting and trying to eat the hot pocket. He then rushed out barely holding his stuff together at this point it was 7:45 am. The door slammed and Arno and Eivor just sat there confused as to what happened.

"What the hell just happened?" Eivor asked, confused.

"I don't know" Arno replied just as confused.

Jacob was sprinting to class; he did not want to be late on his first day. He finally made it to his building where he was taking intro to Sociology. He was majoring in Criminology with a minor in Sociology. Since he was young, he always wanted to solve mysteries in London. It had been his dream to work at Scotland Yard while Evie believed in ghosts he believed in human behavior and he was here to prove that to her.
