'Junkyard'

They put on gloves and open the trunk as the cool air hits their faces. I'm stand beside Steve as he picks the buckets of meat up. Dustin answers his radio, finally one of the boys picked up. "Well, well, well, look who it is" he says as Steve starts packing the bat in his bag. I look on the ground and spot a Baton which will probably come in handy.

From what I'm hearing out of Dustin's conversation they call the monsters Demogorgans, like the game from D&D. So this universe is basically D&D, well we're gonna die. I continue to stand around. "All right let's go" Steve states jumping up as I slam the trunk down.

I turn my head to Steve's as he smiles nodding for me to walk. We walk side by side and I turn my head around to Dustin. "Cmon!" I yell as me and Steve walk together. "Just be there, stay. Over and out" Dustin declares walking behind us grabbing a bucket of meat. Sadly I would have got a bucket but I don't have no gloves.

After awhile, we walk along the tracks as Dustin and Steve drop meat onto them. I walk beside Dustin as Steve walks behind us. "All right, so let me get this straight. You kept something you knew was probably dangerous in order to impress a girl...who you just met?" He questions and I look to Dustin.

He likes Max? Everybody is so in love with Max today. I mean Sinclair obviously has something for Max he never stays away from her and Kyle has a huge crush on her and never stops going on about her and now Dustin! Wow Max has choices, she can pick and choose as she pleases. She's got many options.

"Jules kept it a secret to-" Dustin states as I slap his arm. "Also that's grossly oversimplifying things." He finishes and I turn my head slightly so I could see Steve. "I mean why would a girl like some nasty slug anyway?" He questions and I turn around walking towards Steve. "That sounds very masculine of you Steve Harrington and very sexist. Girls can like science and creatures just as much as boys" I smile as he widens his eyes, I walk in front of both of them as I could feel Steve's eyes burning into my back.

"Well, even if she thought it was cool, which she didn't, I....I just I don't know. I feel like your trying to hard" he says catching up to Dustin as I hear their conversation behind me. "Well, not everyone can have your perfect hair, all right?" He says sadly.

My heart aches for Dustin, he doesn't think a girl will like him. Of course someone is going like him, hell anyone would be lucky to have Dustin. He's smart and creative and loves to find new creatures and he's got an amazing personality which I wish some guys my age would have. He wouldn't treat a girl wrong, he would treat her with respect and love.

"It's not about the hair, man. The key with girls is just..acting like you don't care" he declares and I scoff. That is terrible advice, not all girls want to be ignored but there is se hint of good advice in there but terrible. "Even if you do?" Dustin questions confused.
