'Chapter Seven: The Bite'

'High as hell'

Dustin drives this awfully small cart towards the elevator as the alarm still blares .My body feels numb as I lean against Steve as Joey and Yura look at us weirdly. "Slow down." Steve grumbles, banging the metal. A big smile grows on my face as I turn to Yura.

"Bitch stop looking at me like that." She looks me up and down as Robin slurs "yeah what is this? The Indy 500? She questions and Steve looks at her weirdly pointing. "It's the Indy 300" he corrects in a grumble.

"What's an Indy 500?" I question swatting the metal around us, while Joey looks at me concernedly. A throw my arms in my face and shake my head while continuing to smile madly.

"Dustin watch out!" We hear Erica yell as Dustin slams on the breaks. Yura holds onto the metal cage and onto Joey at the same time, as I flap my hands around thinking I'm a butterfly.

Robin and Steve hit their heads against the metal cage as my head is yanked to Steve's jaw. We collide and groan. Yura look at me and shakes her head and turns around. She better stop shaking her head at me or it's gonna fall off.

Dustin swings the door open, making Yura and Joey jump out quickly. They all stare at us as I touch the back of my head. It throbs as they shout at us to "get out!" They start yanking our feet and pulling, dragging us out of the cage.

I feel like I'm a zoo animal trapped in a cage. Oooh~ what animal would I be? I reckon a sloth or penguin, or a HIPPO. I would be a good looking hippo.

Yura grabs onto my arm and starts dragging me into the elevator which Dustin opened with a keycard he swiped from the doctor. Smart little man. He's even smarter than me! He makes me look dumb, even tho I am.

Once we're inside the elevator starts going up making my stomach feel weird. But a good kind of weird. I laugh as I see Steve on the package roller that wheels all the boxes in. I don't know what it's called but I'm too high to care.

"Steve your surfing! You look like a hot surfer boy!" I yell, jumping up and down clapping as I watch him surf the waves. "Whoaaaa!" He yells, moving his body forwards and backwards as Robin pushes him.
"They seem drunk." Erica comments as we meet eyes.

I turn around and see Robin pull back as Steve goes flying off the cart and straight into the boxes. "MAN DOWN!" I shout hysterically as we all giggle. I stumble over to Yura as she catches me.
