'She's gone down'
We sneak on in to the Mall, quietly as we can. We make it to the upstairs. We all grab some fireworks from the trolly Lucas picked up from the store. Me and Steve held one in our hands and look at each other.
We both nod and light them up. Time to distract this mother fucker.
Lucas threw the first one. "Keep your filthy, hands off of her!" I shout throwing the firework near the top half of his body. Everyone starts joining in as the Flayer stumbles to the side roaring.
"Hey asshole! Over here!" Steve shouts as the Flayer opens his mouth to roar only to be met with fireworks that me and Steve threw in his mouth. Yura hits one to the side of his head. "Take that bitch!" She yells.
We continue to light it up. Even though the creature is in the way, the fireworks are really pretty. "You ugly son of a bitch, come get me!" I scream throwing one to his head, making him stumble backwards towards Lucas and Will.
I look towards the basket and see we have no fireworks yet. My heart skips a beat as Steve screams into the radio. "Dustin we're out of time!" He yells.
Everyone still continues to light him up as Billy tackles El. Everyone's out, no more fireworks. Shit. That's where I see Max, Jenni and Mike come out but come to a halt as they see Billy standing.
I have no idea what to think, or what to do all I can do is just watch what's happening and hope for the best. El tries to get away by shuffling back but it's no use. The Mind Flayer roars and snarls as it tongue comes out fast.
I close my eyes waiting to hear Mike scream but nothing happened. I open my eyes slowly to only be met with Billy sacrificing himself as Max watches. They may have not had a good relationship but that's still her brother, step brother or not.
"No!" He yells, as the Mind Flayer pulls him closer. My heart breaks for Max as the creature yells. Billy screams back in pain as fear washes over me. The creature screeches as multiple arms meet Billy's skin, digging inside of him.
Jenni takes that as a sign to run into the open. My heart skips a beat as she goes to reach for El. "Jenni watch out!" I scream at the top of my lungs as an arm plunges into her side and my heart shatters.
Billy yells once more before the tongue pierces his chest. "Billy!" Max let's out a blood curling scream as his body falls to the floor. I feel like I can't mutter out a word before the Mind Flayer moves onto my aunt.
Plunging three more tentacles into her frail body. I feel ringing in my ear. Please, no, no, no. I gasp unable to get the emotions out of me, there's too many I'm feeling right now. She screams out. It feels like my heart is being ripped out of my chest. Steve comes up behind me and stares at what's happening.
