'Chapter Three: The Case of the Missing Lifeguard''In this together'
Me and Yura decided it would be a fun idea to have a sleepover since, we've practically been together all day so why not spend a night with each other. Steve is probably crying in his car right now, sad that he can't come inside my room and do many things to me.
Jenni met Yura and she thinks she's a wonderful human being which she is and even said she had to stay. So Yura called up her mother and my aunt had a lovely chit-chat on the phone. "So you and Steve how long have you been together?" She questions as we lie down on my bed. I smile and she grins. "Over a year now and I still get butterflies." I say blushing as she looks at me in awe.
"Steve in my eyes may be a bit of a dick but for you...I'm happy for you." She says as I sit up with a look upon my face. I'm happy that we're together, but Dustin's words are spinning around my head on a loop and I can't stop it. It feels like I can't breathe. "Julie, are you alright?" She questions sitting up opposite and scans my face.
"I can trust you can't I?" I question as she nods repeatedly and takes one of my hands. "Of course you can, we're practically best friends now." She smiles, showing her beautiful white teeth. How did I get a friend as hot as her? Jesus the gods definitely sent me the most beautiful angel.
"Dustin said something before you came in....-" I find trouble finding the words. I feel like my mouth is zipped shut. Yura strokes my hand, bringing me back down. "He said if we crack the code, he could have all the ladies, even more." I finish and Yura's eyes widen with shock and disgust as a angry face appears on her.
"What a little shit. That's disrespectful, you should tell him what for. He's feeding things into Steve's head. I hope he doesn't change his dam mind or ima have to take my heels off and stab it in his chest." She says angrily making me smile, she cares for me.
"Yeah, I know. I just thought he said it in a playful matter but, it's constantly playing in my mind. I see the way some girls look at him and it makes me insecure." I say quietly and she wraps her arms around me. I breathe in her scented Lily and strawberry perfume she's been wearing all day.
"These bitches are so lucky they ain't dead right now. Because I'm tempted to find out where they live and kill them in their sleep. No offence to the child but, I'm not having anyone make you insecure just because of what they said. A child or not." She coos me as I feel a barrier of protection wrap around my arms.
The way she's comforting me right now makes me happy. I haven't had a friend like this in a long time and I've missed it so much. She cares so much for me and we've only met two days ago. This friendship is exactly what I need, she's my angel sent from heaven.
