8. regret.

When we arrived we straight went to the doctor. „ Mr. Norris is in a stable situation now, the Operation was successful. He will wake up soon." The doctor says. „I thank you with my whole heart." i say releaved. „Your welcome." he says and brings me to landos room. I open it and see him laying there, he still looks really weak.. i sit down next to him and take his hand again. I barely slept so i got really tierd and felt asleep with my head on his legs while still holding his hands.

I slowly open my eyes and see a bright light.. where the hell am i? Everything hurts.. oh i'm at Hospital?.. why tho? Oh! I remember, i had a terrible crash. I look down and see carlos laying there. Aw.. he felt asleep.. i wonder how long he's here already. I look to my right and see max standing there. „he didn't leave your side. Not even for a moment you know?" max says. „He's been here all day, yesterday too only to hold your hand." max smiles. My heart melts, „aww.. really?" i pet carlos head softly. „but how did i crash? I can't really remember." i ask. „Oh well lance hit you from behind." he says. „Oh no! My bad i should've been faster." i say. „Lando no it's not your fault at all, it's lance's." max says. „You can't imagine what carlos did." he continues. „What did he do?" i ask confused. „Well it's a long story. But i'll start, when you crashed of course the team told him and he stopped his car next to yours and got out to go to you." max says with a smile. „My heart is melting.. i love him so much. But wait. You aren't allowed to do that?! Did he got a penalty." i ask worried. „We don't know yet we 3 were here all day yesterday and today." he says. „You three? Who is the third one?" i ask. „Oh uh.. it's daniel." he says nervous. I smirk „ooooo" i say teasing. „Be quiet now, i'm not done talking. Well after the ambulance brought you away. He went straight up to lance and beated his ass. If me and daniel didn't run after him lance would've probably ended up here too." i widen my eyes. „What!? He beat someone up for me?" i blush while looking down at carlos. „You really got a good one lando. Never let him go." max says smiling. „I will never let him go. But i'm worried about the consequences for him. He beat someone up and got out of the car without a reason during the race. All because of me." i say worried. „Lando if he wasn't there maybe you would've died, i don't think he cares about any penaltys." i smile a bit and keep playing with carlos hair. „I will go to daniel, he's waiting." max waves and leaves the room.

„Huh.." i hear carlos yawn and look at the door. „Who was that?.." he asks himself „oh it was only max." He fastly turns his head to mine and looks at me shocked. „L-Lando?!" he says and a big smile appears on his face. „Are you really Lando or am i dreaming again he says and puts his hand on my cheek. „i'm real." i giggle. He stands up and hugs me carefully, he burries his face in my neck and i feel his tears rolling down my neck. I put my arms arround him and pet his head. „Everything is alright now, i'm here.." i say quietly. He sits back up and wipes his tears away fastly. I take his hands. „Thank you carlos.. without you i probably would've died.. thank you so much for saving me my prince." i say and lean forward to kiss him. „Everything for you my love."

Someone knocks on the door and carlos turns arround. Daniel opens it, „uh carlos, we have to talk to you." he says. „Really now? Lando just woke up." carlos asks. „Oh i'm sorry, but it's really important." he says. Carlos sighs and stands up. „Lando please call me if you need something or you don't feel well okay?" Carlos says. „I will." i answer.

„So what do you have to tell me?" I ask „well fia tried to connect you a couple of time but you didn't answer the phone. So they connected me because they knew you were with me." daniel says. I sigh, i bet imma get the consequences now. „Well, you will be disqualified of the next 3 races and you have to pay stroll 50.000" daniel says. I look mad to the ground. „I don't give a fuck. I'm still happy that i did all that." i say. „But i'm still not done with lance, he will regret that he has met me." i smirk and open the door of landos room again. „Carlos! You can't-" daniel trys to say. „I don't give a fuck about the consequences he will pay for what he has done." i say and enter landos room, daniel and max walk after me.

„But lance only crashed in me, he didn't donit on purpose it's not that bad carlos." lando says. I look at lando and opened my mouth. No, i can't tell him what lance said it will only hurt him. „But he's carlos is right he has to pay that he said all those things-" max tries to say but i interrupt him „shhh!!" lando looks confused. „what things did he say?" lando asks. I look at daniel and max with a warning look. They look away. „what things carlos?" lando keeps asking. „It's nothing important." i say. „Carlos." he says. I can't tell him i don't want to hurt him. „I will tell him." daniel says. Lando's eyes move away from mine to daniels. „Well.. lance said.. uh a few bad things about you." he says. „What things daniel?" lando asks. Daniel sighs and he couldn't look into landos eyes. „He said.. he would be glad, if.. uhm.. if you died." daniel says a bit quieter. I look fast away from daniel to lando. He stays silent and i could see a tear drop down his eye. „That's enough. I will fucking kill that bastard." i say and stand up to leave, daniel grabs my arm to stop me but i pull my arm aways. „Carlos don't do that!" max says but i open the door angry. „Please don't leave me." lando says quietly and i stop moving. I look to the ground and stand still for a secound. I close the door and go back to lando. „I'm sorry.." i say and sit back down to take his hand. „ i just can't stand seing you hurt lando." i say and look at him. „carlos it's okay really.." he says.

Some time passed by and the nurses told us to leave because it's too late. „Can you drop me off somewhere?" i ask them. „Huh where i thought you're gonna stay with us?" daniel asks. „Yeah uh i'm just gonna get some clothes from my hotel." i say and they nod.

I get out of the car, „i'll be right back." i say. I smirk as i walk into the hotel. I go to room 367 and knock on it. Lance opens it and i punch him into his face „hah! You bastard thought that i forgot you?" i smirk. „Ugh you fucking asshole stop that shit." lance says. „ i told you you will regret it." i push him against the wall and kick him into his stomach until he coughs blood. Then i let him fall on the floor and smash his head against the wall. „That should be enough for now. And if you want to run to fia or the police again, i have prove that your father bought aston martin illegally. So i would be careful from now on." i say. „Ouch damnit.. wait you have what?" he asks. „You have heared me, i want you to apologize to lando Tomorrow and say you didn't mean it understood?" i say. „Yeah understood!" he says. I grin and leave his room, i go to mine fast and grab some clothes.

„What took you so damn long carlos?" daniel asks. „sorry, i had to do something." i say. „Uh okay.." daniel says.
