CHAPTER : FIFTY - ONE

The last Chapter

Felicity

I was pacing back and fourth as my hands starts to sweat, hands trembling, knees wobbling and nervous starts to crawl up all over my body.

Patiently waiting where the time will start this ceremony.

"Chill woman! Hindi ka naman tatakbuhan ng bride mo kumalma ka nga." Selene said giving me a stressful looks as she brushed her hair using her hand with annoyance on her face.

I hissed and looked myself one again on the mirror in front of me.

Wearing a wedding gown, a light make up and just a kinda tidy hair.

Nervous and worry can be seen on my face.

"How can I calm down? If she is fifteen minutes late, Selene..." I lowly muttered trying not to overthink some thoughts that will hurt me in the end.

I heard she heaved a deep sigh before she stand up and went besides me and held my shoulder. She looked at me through the mirror and I can see how nervous she is too.

She's masking it by faking a smile.

She can deceive people by that fake smile of hers, but not on me.

Selene may be a good actress in their point of view but not to me. I can literally read her.

"I know she will come, Fel. She can't get away from you especially your situation right now." She uttered trying to ease me.

I gulped hard and shut my eyes. I put my arms on the vanity mirror table and lowered my head as a heaved a deep sigh, calming myself.

Mali ang iniisip ko.

Alam kong hindi niya magagawa 'yon lalo na ngayong araw na'to.

"If she'll runaway, I will haunt her together with my Rogelios, Felicity." Almira cold voice echoed around the room as her voice is getting near to us.

"Uhuh I agree. That kid can't runaway to you. Look at your situation. Dapat ka niyang panindigan." Singit ni Avaline na siyang nakaupo sa isang couch.

All of us are here inside the room while people who is invited on this ceremony are patiently waiting outside.

Mom and Dad are also on outside together with Danai's family.

"B-but she's late. Yanna is always the early one when it comes to me.." I said under my breathe almost whispered that they almost cannot hear me.

"Baka nasiraan lang ng gulong. Uso 'yon sa palabas diba kapag ikakasal?" Selene trying to light up the atmosphere by joking but it's not working.

"That's impossible to happened. Sa tingin mo ba masisiraan ng kotse 'yon lalo na araw ng kasal nila? Do you think her family let that happen?" Bara sa kaniya ni Almira.

Selene rolled her eyes to Almira and just went silent.

"Okay I'll call my guards." Avaline said and get her phone.

"I'll do the same wa—" Almira was cut off by one of the organizer.

She was panting hard and sweats were visible on her face. I looked at her in her eyes but she's avoiding my gaze.
