Dying Is Easy Living Is Harder

*hiruzen took another hit of his pipe and continued*

Hiruzen:after the civilian council decided to put Naruto in an orphanage i tried to help believe me i did i made it illegal for people to talk about the beast and that day but obviously they ignored and word soon got out of what Naruto had inside him at the age of 4 he was kicked out of the orphanage and lived in the streets until i found him sadly i didn't find him fast enough..

*Hiruzen sighed sadly remembering the state Naruto was in that night*

Hiruzen:in those 8 months he was on the streets the villagers would beat and torture poor little Naruto even my own anbu refused to help him. I may have not been able to stop them but i made sure that the Anbu's who refused we're executed to send a message to the others who even thought on touching Naruto. It's ironic really the kyuubi itself was keeping him alive even a demon made a chakra wasn't as heartless as the villagers to let a innocent kid die then the civilian council made a new holiday. Care to take a guess what that holiday was Minato?

*Both parents had tears in there eyes while hiruzen felt pity for kushina he had none for Minato*

Hiruzen:they called it fox hunt every year on his birthday they would hunt him down the council justified it by saying it was a great honor to be the fox and they were just gonna grab him but everyone who was a Shinobi knew the truth. The civilians hunted Naruto like a wild animal and hunted him like one torturing the poor lad until he was near death even the kyuubi was having trouble healing him then Naruto got lucky Tsunade appeared and saw the state of her godson. She went mental and killed  every single one who touched Naruto it didn't matter if they we're man woman or even children she killed them all and I say good riddance.  Tsunade grabbed Naruto and healed him with her and the kyuubi powers Naruto was healed it looked like things where finally gonna start to look up for naruto but the council had other plans. They branded her a traitor to the leaf and she had to run i was with her the day she left i was able to give her a good amount of money since she was banned from the Senju bank account and she had Naruto with her. I wasn't about to stop her since this was the best chance Naruto had of living a normal life. She took and left. It's been 9 years since last i saw any of them For good reason since on my request i told her not to send any type mail or anything to say they were ok i couldn't trust that someone wouldn't interfere with that and track them down

*Hiruzen finished as he looked at the two parents Kushina looked distraughtz while Minato looked angry not for the council nor for himself no, he was angry at hiruzen*

Minato:why didn't you do more to help my son?! You're the Hokage!

*Hiruzen slammed his fist on his desk glaring daggers at Minato*

Hiruzen:i did try!! I tried i did everything that was in my powers to help him, but it's difficult to help when the council you helped built became more and more power hungry taking power away from the Hokage not to mention my age i was 68 when all that happened I'm getting closer to 80. I'm a old man to tired to keep fighting so don't blame this on me you want to blame someone take a good long look in the mirror Minato cause all this pain happened because of you

*Hiruzen got up and threw his hat and robe at Minato*

Hiruzen:but this are still you're people they need a leader you are that leader. I'm far too old to keep fighting now grow up and take up the responsibility you left me with, you have a lot of work to do now both of you get ready I'm calling a council meeting to announce you're return to the land of the living and to make you the Hokage again you have 5 minutes

*Minato just nodded feeling numb as hiruzen left to get the council meeting started Minato tried to hug kushina but she pushed him aside glaring at him with tears on her eyes*

Kushina:don't.fucking.touch.me! Once you're Hokage you're putting me on the team to find Tsunade and MY son we'll talk about us after that

*Kushina dried her tears and started breathing to calm herself down. Minato just sighed as he puts the hat and robe on the door opened revealing a anbu with a hound mask*

Hound:Lord Hokage the council..

Minato:take that mask off and at least face you're old sensei like a man Kakashi

*Minato said in a tired tone traced with venom Kakashi sighed and took his anbu mask of kushina walked up to him and slapped him hard on the face. Kakashi just stood there and took it looking down*

Kakashi:I'm sorry..

Kushina:after being there when you're father died after basically raising and training you, you did this to us?! You we're supposed to be like his big brother and you abandoned him!!

*Kushina walked away before she does something she might not regret Kakashi sighed and looked at his sensei*

Minato:i asked you to make sure he was ok you could have at the very least check in on him every now and then. But you even failed that words cannot express the amount of disappointment i feel about you, about this village, about the civilians and more importantly myself. But this stops now there will be major changes Kakashi and in the end you'll be lucky if I just make you a permanent chunnin

*Minato said walking to the meeting leaving Kakashi there alone with a frown on his face as he just sighed and walked behind Minato he was still an Anbu and had a job to do*

Kakashi"just put this on another list of my  regrets
