It's been a blissful few months with Jin.

You visited your family in Gwangju the weekend after you both made up, and your parents quickly warmed up to him after he cooked them a full meal in apology from several months ago. Hoseok gave Jin the talk about not hurting you again, and your brother passed up on threatening him with a punishment after you said that Jungkook and Jimin have that covered.

You start to see his family a lot more, too, and nothing feels more liberating than not having to pretend in front of them anymore, especially as they continue to treat you as well as they do.

And when it's just you and Jin, it's every bit freeing and exciting and comfortable as you imagined.

Between the morning rides to the office where you're both bickering again, to the occasional lunches out that sometimes include Jimin and Yoongi, to the weekend market runs and kitchen experiments after seeing a recipe you both like, you and your husband learn more about each other in the simple and intimate things that you both do.

And with the fancy dinner dates and corner cafe finds, the weekend getaways that find you either in Jeonju or in Taiwan for a food trip, all the sex in the comforts of your home, the rare moments of spoiling you with a nice coat and the necklace pair of the couple bracelet that his grandparents got you, you and Jin also find out the enjoyable, heartwarming, and most exciting parts about being a rich married couple.

He still goes on business trips some days and you always either wake up or fall asleep to his voice messages that have you cackling and missing him at the same time. You go on your own trips, too, sending him your own voice messages that's more teasing him than anything. You have dinner and karaoke nights with your best friends, and Taehyung and Hyun-a invite you to more parties at different clubs that now include Yoongi because Dara guilt tripped him that one time and you also think he's really into her.

You and Jin bicker and argue and complain about each other to each other like an old married couple, but one kiss or hug then you're like teenagers melting in a puddle and smiling like annoying idiots.

There's always something fun to do, always something new to learn, always something heartwarming to feel, and you savor every moment you have with him.

On the first year anniversary of your wedding, he took you to Jeju. It was 3 days of snorkeling, kayak fishing, and eating, and on your first night, as you both watched the night sky and the moon was shining brightly, reminding you of what he'd been to you during those confusing times, you told him you love him. You didn't comment on his glassy eyes, but he did fall asleep with his head on your chest, holding you tightly.

It's been 2 weeks since that trip, and you and Jin still daydream about the pork belly from their native black pig, the abalone, and the scabbard fish dishes that had you both going to food heaven.

It's a Saturday night and you're in the living room, watching a variety TV show that has you both laughing incessantly. It was a tiring day, as Geonhoo turned 7 and you spent his birthday party running after Jihoo and Sungmin.

With a busy week ahead of you, you and Jin decide to just lounge tonight and cuddle. You're currently enveloped in his body, his arms and legs locking your own, and his lips occasionally finding your neck for some sweet and teasing kisses. You ask him to let go but he holds on tighter, and you take to tickling him with all the effort you can muster, causing him to loosen his grip.

"Yah!" He yells, and you find an out and turn to him and tickle him some more until he's weak enough for you to straddle him.

"My tummy hurts," he pouts, and you roll your eyes at him because he's being dramatic again.
