Realizing Hobi was in no hurry to speak to you, probably didn't even see anything wrong with anything that had happened, you decided to get him off your mind. You could just exercise him out of your head until you could sleep and tomorrow you could decide the best way of telling him it was over.
This wasn't fun, had it ever been fun? Before you could say no you remembered moments where you'd felt really happy with him. Where you'd felt distracted from the mess you'd let your life become. You swiped away a tear that was dropping below your lashes.
You weren't in love with him. You weren't even sure if you liked him, but you didn't sign up to be treated so expendable. Shouldn't you have all the details of a game before deciding if you wanted to play?
You didn't even hate him, you wanted to be mad but the anger kept fading into the same pity for yourself that Ji-woo had showed. How pathetic were you that he could pluck you out of his sister's nursery and make you do these things for him?
You didn't know your next steps, but you knew your current ones. You quickly changed into sweats and a t shirt and tied your hair up. You had to take a deep breath as your fingers corralled the strands, remembering him doing the same the previous night. Except his motivation had been a blow job. Forget him.
You jogged and walked around your neighborhood until you thought you might collapse, the sun faded from the sunset sky, sweat drenching your body, you made your way back to your building. You knew it was unlikely you'd encounter him in the elevator, but wouldn't it just be your luck to run into him and his obedient sub looking the way you did?
The elevator was empty, you had to laugh at your pessimistic brain. In the shower you thought about what a fool you'd been, playing out of your league. Hobi knew all the rules, all the moves, you never knew anything at all. Had he said you were his only sub? Had he even said you were his only fling? Dumb of you to assume.
But that didn't sit right, relationship or not, he'd asked you to be in a committed dynamic. He'd asked a lot of you, but did that mean you could ask a lot of him? Yes. Yes it did. You could ask for respect and transparency. His comments had always hinted you weren't the only woman in his life. His remark about never being alone, you'd thought meant the guys, but he'd not said that. He'd call his company 'humans', and if it was Jimin or Yoongi or managers he could have just said that. If it was friends he could have just mentioned it, but he'd intentionally been vague.
