Being a guardian angel was a bit of a challenge for San. He was in charge of the life of Hongjoong, a young male who had spent most his life staying away from others and always finding a way to injure himself. And San was able to stop most of the injuries from being too bad. But there was one injury that San was unable to prevent.

~~~~
Hongjoong had his head hanging low slightly as he listened to his surroundings. He hated not being able to see anything around him, only able to get around using his hearing.
After a bad car crash, Hongjoong had ended up blind and found it difficult to get around and adjust to his life. Many people made fun of him, always laughing at him when he tripped and tried to find the things he would drop.
It was too expensive to get an eye surgery so Hongjoong just had to live with his new life.
"Stupid crash... Why me"? he muttered as he stayed at his home. Going out just made him a target for laughter and hate.
San was invisible to him, floating above the ground as he watched Hongjoong. He struggled doing daily tasks now and it hurt San knowing he couldn't prevent it from happening.
"I'm so sorry... I want to protect you but I can't with everything"... San spoke softly. He wished he could heal him, let him see again but he was never told guardian angles were able to heal. He just was told to not show himself to his human.
Hongjoong sighed as he carefully made his way to his room, using his hands to guide him around. San followed close behind him and made sure he was careful. Hongjoong sat on his bed once he entered his room and closed his eyes tight.
"Please... just let me see again... if there is anything that can help, I'll take it please"... he whispered.
~~~~

"Sangie I need help"!! San shouted as he appeared in Yeosang's office, making the older jump.

"Warn me next time! I know you can teleport but message me please"?

"Sorry Sang. But I need some help".

"What with"?

"M-my human. The one I'm assigned to".

"I can't help you with him. You know that".

"I know but you can answer a question". Yeosang sighed and placed his pen down.

"Yes"?

"C-can guardian angels heal the human they protect"?

"I mean, yes but"-

"That's all I needed! Thank you"!

"San wait"! San looked at him as Yeosang stood up.

"We can heal them but it's always best not to. We can't get attached to them or we will disappear or lose all our magic, making us human. Not a guardian. T-that's what we're always told. Though no one has very recorded it. I just want you safe".

"I just wanna give him his sight back"... San whispered before disappearing from the room.

~~~~
San appeared in Hongjoong's room, seeing the boy struggling to find something and he walked over to him and the boy shivered slightly.
"Where is it"... Hongjoong muttered.
"What is he looking for"? San whispered. He walked beside him and hovered a hand over his shoulder, hesitant with his plan. He moved his hand away and moved back as Hongjoong gave up on trying to find and made his way over to the bed. He laid down and San moved over to him as he closed his eyes and San carefully waved his hand over his face slightly, letting his power flow.
"I hope this heals you".
The next morning, Hongjoong slowly woke, dreading the day ahead of him. But as he opened his eyes, he noticed nothing was blurry. It was crystal clear.
"I-I can see"? He whispered, sitting up straight. Hongjoong could see clearly. He smiled big as he stood up from the bed. San was floating in the corner and smiled, seeing the smile on his face.
"I'm glad I could make you happy". Hongjoong had rushed to get dressed for the day. He grabbed his things and ran out happily and San followed behind him
"Be careful Joong"... he whispered. Hongjoong had rushed into the busy street and smiled as he looked around everywhere.
"I've missed this"... Hongjoong spoke. San smiled before seeing a car coming towards them at full speed and Hongjoong hadn't noticed it.
"No... Hongjoong no"!! He screamed, making himself visible and running forward. San grabbed Hongjoong and both fell out of the way of the car and Hongjoong's eyes were wide as he looked at San.
"A-are you ok"? San asked. Hongjoong was quiet as they sat up.
"Your in shock"? He nodded, taking in San's features. His skin was fair and his blonde hair neatly framed his face.
"T-thank you"... Hongjoong whispered. San smiled as they stood up.
"Um, w-where did you come from? I didn't see you anywhere near me". San didn't know what to say. He knew he fucked up but he needed to keep him safe after giving him his vision back.
"U-um... I"... San started. Hongjoong smiled and moved away.
"Your like my... guardian, right"? San's eyes widened.
"N-no! I'm just"-
"I'm not silly. Everyone has a guardian. Your mine. You saved me so I assumed you were protecting me".
"For a human, your hella smart", San said, returning the smile.
"Thanks for saving me... angel".
"D-don't call me that out here. I'm San".
"Well, San... Don't think anyone is really meant to see you so... I guess i won't see you again"? San walked over to him.
"Only if your alone. I've grown... fond of you. Your nice to protect. And I'm happy I was assigned to you. Try to stay safe though please"? Hongjoong giggled.
"I'll try". San gave him one last smile before quickly becoming invisible. If he lost his magic, he didn't care, he could always find a way to keep Hongjoong safe. And he was happy Hongjoong knew he had his own guardian angel.
 I'm back with a new oneshot!
School is almost over for me. One more week left! Once it's over, I'll try and be more active and publish more chapters in my books.
School has been stressful and I'm happy it's almost over. I can then focus on myself more and not worry about what people say to me or how much people hate me. I've had a few people hate me this year.
So I hope you enjoy this one shot and if you have any ideas, feel free to comment them and I'll do my best to add them to the book.
