"Thank you, Marco," Hevero let out with a satisfied smile.

"I can't promise that my sweet words will last, Hevero," Marco mumbled. He was watching Noah slowly fall asleep.

"He is a lot better, thank you," Hevero said and watched Noah disappear into sleep.

Hevero turned around and started wiping blood from the floor. It was only a few drops.

"When will the professionals be here?" Bewo asked and looked at Hevero's arm.

"They could be here any second now," Hevero let out with a smile.

After wiping away the blood he grabbed a needle and pierced his wounded arm.

He let the liquid into his bloodstream and sighed satisfied.

"This will only take the pain but it won't heal it," Hevero mumbled at his arm but was speaking to Bewo. "If I heal it, it could make it difficult for the professionals." Hevero chuckled softly and then studied his arm again. "Humans amaze me."

Hevero's gaze landed on Marco.

"They are so... unpredictable. They are smart," Hevero let out and Marco didn't know if he should feel threatened. "They are dangerous. Hard to tame. And they are hard to understand."

Marco opened his mouth to speak but hesitated to speak when the door slid to the side.

"Hi," Hevero said, turning to two cannarrians.

"Greetings," a dark sand-colored let out.

"Hello," a red and orange alien spoke. They quickly got in and set course toward Hevero.

"Lay down," the sand-colored alien demanded. "Have you made sure you are in no pain?"

"Yes, I just have," Hevero said and placed himself on an operation bed.

They barely even glanced at Marco. They were sure it wasn't dangerous. Bewo was here and if he was here and trusting that Marco wouldn't attack they knew it was friendly. It wasn't locked up and it would be if it was unfriendly.

Their eyes landed on Noah for a moment.

"What are they?" the red and orange alien asked Bewo and pointed at Marco and Noah with a hand.

"Humans-" Bewo let out but was cut off by Hevero.

"Dangerous," Hevero said and nodded toward Noah. "That human in there did this to me." He made a gesture toward his arm.

The red and orange alien took a step away from Marco. Marco smiled and looked directly at the alien. The fear in the alien hurt Marco more than he had thought. He never felt sorry when he scared one of them but this time he did.

"You should put a leash on that thing," the alien growled softly.

"He is tame-" Bewo let out but was once again cut off by Hevero.

"So was Noah," Hevero said and pointed at the sleeping human. "Noah was tame. Marco could turn against you."

"He won't," Bewo said. "I trust him."
