Confession 2

Tears falling from his eyes as he wrote his last message to her

He texted saying

"Loving you was one of the greatest feelings I've ever had
It came at a point of my life when I least expected it

And they always say "it'll happen when you least expect it"

But I didn't think that would actually be my reality ,but it was....

It was a beautiful chapter in my life
I felt myself becoming a better person

I was romantically involved with someone that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with and......

I won't lie...it felt amazing

It felt like the stars had aligned

It felt like this was what was meant to be for me

So I think the hardest part is always gonna be letting go of that idea of what we could've been.

But I'm absolutely grateful for the memories"

He slowly pressed sent and turned off his phone

As he broke down in sobs alone in his apartment.......

the memories breaking him further as he slipped in the peaceful hands of sleep.
