Mixed Feelings

As they both walked together, the young man looked at her
The young girl in question had a pure smile with a light skip to her steps

The man smiled and looked ahead at the forest filled with Sakura trees seemingly to compliment her pink dressing in all her beauty

He then said "it might seem that both our families have concluded on our marriage"

He then looked at her saying " what do you think about the whole thing?"

The girl had a thoughtful look for a second before she smiled once again and answered saying "I don't see a problem with it and-"

She blushed and said "-and I'm actually quite happy with it"

She then smiled sadly and sadly "but atlas I know you love me but you find it hard to fully trust me"

The young man kept a straight face and said "I know........I just need time to really come to terms with the fact that someone loves.......me"

The lady then said "I know the wound is deep and I'm patient to wait for it to heal so you can love and trust me fully"

The young man looked at her silently the quickly looked away as a tear slipped

Then they continue walking in comfortable silence with unspoken words and deep understanding between them.
