"Really? Her?" A voice whispered in an incredulous tone.
"Yes, I'm telling you. It's her. As soon as she said her name, I had a vision. Another prophecy. It's her... a girl." The boy from before answered the incredulous guy.
I was still half asleep and could barely make out what the mysterious men were saying. It was muffled by the static of sleep in my brain; a weird fuzzy feeling.
"You had a prophecy? Like you had a prophecy, prophecy? Or you had a prophecy, prophecy?" A third voice asked.
The familiar voice of the boy who saved me filled the space again with a sigh. "I had a prophecy, prophecy."
"With the twitching and glowy eyes and the floor seizure thingie?"
"Yes C.C, there was the floor seizure thingie and glowy eyes and twitching." Saviour answered.
"Whoa. She's special." The boy who I assumed was C.C answered.
"Well I'm glad! I'm tired of looking at you guys all the time. We needed a girl." Yet another voice said.
"So you like her solely because she's a girl?" Saviour asked the boy.
"Hey, I like anybody with boobs." The guy answered. I shifted from my position and I felt the guys shuffle around where they were.
"Dude, I think she's waking up." The guy who liked boobs pointed out as he came close to me. "Hey... you awake?"
"Ashley shut up! She's still asleep!" The voice of my saviour came close and took Ashley away.
I stirred again but by now all the sleep had left my head and I opened my eyes. It took a while for my eyes to adjust to the light that was coming in through the single window in the room.
There were five boys in total. My Saviour was among the group, being the tallest and most happy looking of them all. He smiled as I looked at the other four boys curiously.
"Hi Michelle." He said giving me a hand to stand up. I took it and rose to my feet.
This was the first time I stood up in a long time. It felt weird. Like it wasn't right for me to move using my legs.
"These are the people I wanted you to meet." My saviour said putting his hand over my shoulders to steady me. "We are the rebels."
I stared up at him incredulously. "You are the rebels? The rebels?"
Back when I was still in the F.E.A.R cells, there were rummors of a group of rebels that had escaped the claws of F.E.A.R. Of course, I didn't believe the rummors.
How could a group of boys escape F.E.A.R and still be able to survive outside of the church. With what?
And yet here I was and here they were. The five rebels were here standing right in front of me. I was with the rebels.
"Yes babe, we are the rebels." A boy in front of me answered. From the sound of his voice gave me the thought that he was the guy that liked boobs...
Saviour sighed next to me. "He's Ashley, you can call him Ash if you want."
"Or you can call me "The Deviant". It has a very nice ring to it." Ashley said.
"Ignore him, that's his rebel name."
I looked up at my saviour cocking an eyebrow. "Rebel name?"
"Yeah we all have rebel names that go with our special abilities." Saviour explained. "That guy there is Christian, but you can call him C.C or Chuppy. His rebel name is The Destroyer."
I raised my eyebrows as I looked at C.C. The destroyer? This guy looked like a hyper puppy. His smile was wide and friendly and he had a goofy sense to him. Like a best friend. I liked him right off the bat.
Both Ashley and C.C's hair was long and black, maybe about shoulder length. They were covered in leather from head to toe, wearing a leather vest and no shirt. They had tattoos up and down their arms and a smile on their faces. Just that C.C's smile was sweet and Ashley's smile was a total flirt.
I blushed a bit and looked away.
"That one's Jinxx. His rebel name is The Mystic." I looked at Jinxx and smiled. He seemed like the mom of the group. Like fun but stern at the same time. "Wait till you see his abilities. They'll blow your mind."
I looked at Jinxx's blue eyes. They seemed to call out. They were telling me about a hidden surprise somewhere in the depths of who this boy really was. The eyeliner on his eyes gave them depth and made them wonderful to look at. This boy was beautiful.
"There's also Jake. His rebel name is The Mourner. He's very special." Saviour said with a smile.
I looked over at Jake. He was wearing something much like everyone else. His hair was also black and long. It was shinny, especially with the sun shinning through the window.
But there was something special about him. He looked sad. He looked very sad, like he was pleading with his pretty brown eyes. I looked away quickly and onto the ground.
"And, I'm Andy. My rebel name is The Prophet but please don't call me that. It's just Andy." I looked up at him with a smile.
"Thanks Andy." I stated. "Thank you so much."
"For what?"
"For saving me back there. I would've starved to death if you wouldn't have come to me." I explained.
Andy blushed a bit but quickly recovered trying to show his leadership. "It was just my job Michelle."
I nodded. "So, when am I going to go back home?"
They all looked at me with confused expressions. It's like they thought I was completely out of my mind.
"Home?" Ashley asked looked at Andy. "Dude she-"
Andy thew him a look that shut him right up then looked down at me. "Home?"
"You know home. I want to go to my parents. I want to live my normal life again." I explained with an eyebrow raised.
Why where they so confused? It's like they didn't know what home was. I mean, didn't they expect for me to want to leave immediately?
"Michelle." Andy took a deep breath. "Michelle, there is no home. This is all there is."
I stared up him. My mouth opened but no sound came out. "But-"
"There's this place, the survivor camps, and the F.E.A.R ruins." Jinxx spoke up. "Take your pick."
Andy smiled reassuringly. "It's okay."
I shook my head. "No it's not." I whispered but gave up on the thought just so I wouldn't have a breakdown. "When am I going to a survivor camp then?" I asked.
Again the guys looked at each other awkwardly. "Andy didn't you explain?" Ashley asked.
Andy sighed softly. "I told you, she went to sleep as soon as I picked her up. She doesn't know anything."
I looked at Andy's expression of anguish and gave in to my curiosity. "What is it? What do I need to know?"
"You're not going to a survivor camp because you're different." Andy said.
"Different?"
"Special."
"How so?"
"Michelle, I had a vision. There's a new prophecy."
"So?"
"So, you're a rebel."
