Andy's P.O.V
"Andy! Andy! Andy, you did it!" I knew I had heard the muffled voice before but I couldn't recognize who it belonged to.
My vision of the bloody leader blurred a couple of times and then it was gone. Everything was black again. My heart was racing as I kept praying for sunlight.
I felt hands on my shoulders and I started flailing my arms in all directions. I wasn't sure if it was an attack or a soothing act.
Either way I wasn't taking any chances so I attacked whatever it was.
"Andy, stop." Michelle. It was Michelle.
Her hands traveled down my arms, rubbing circles all around. Her breath blew the hair out of my eyes but I still couldn't see.
It was dark.
"Andy?" She asked.
My heart still raced unbelievably fast. The adrenaline was pumping all through me in rapid pulsation as I felt my pupils searching for something to see. They found nothing.
"Andy?" She asked again.
"What?" I asked desperatly making sure there weren't any stray tears clinging to my face.
"Open your eyes. Open them."
I did as told softly, opening one eye first and then the other slowly. The light poured into my pupils making me cringe from the sudden amount of light.
It all looked blurry, I couldn't make anything out but a figure in front of me rubbing my arms. I knew it was Michelle but I couldn't make out her features.
I blinked twice and the vision all got better. We were still at the battlefield but everything was calmed. I didn't see any fighting and I couldn't hear anybody fighting either.
I gave Michelle a confused look and she nodded. "Let go of the staff." She said softly. "Andy, you did it. Let it go."
She looked so worried as she talked soflty, trying to calm me down. I could see it in her eyes that she didn't understand why I was accting this way.
I looked down at my hands and noticed the fresh blood on them. I was holding a F.E.A.R guard's rusty staff and at the end of it was the limp and lifeless body of the F.E.A.R leader.
I gasped softly letting the staff go.
"But it was a... the realm." I whispered.
Michelle's P.O.V
"Realm?" I asked softly.
What was he talking about? All I could remember was Andy screaming, then crying and then praying to God. He had literally taken the F.E.A.R guard's staff and had lunged at the leader.
The rest of us had fought off the rest of the guards. Was it easy? No. I almost fucking died. I had blood dripping from my hands and it stained my boots as well. There were tears on my face and dirt on my clothes.
Ash, Jake, and Jinxx were standing behind me watching as Andy came out of his trance. C.C was checking on all of the survivors and wreckage.
Andy had been clenching his eyes shut for a very long time now. We were all scared for him, worried sick.
He stood back admiring what he had done. The leader laid on the floor, bloodied, with eyes wide open, and a slightly open mouth. Blood poured out of it in a tiny crimson stream.
Andy shook his head. "How?"
"You lunged. You lunged at her." Jinxx approached, holding Andy by the shoulder. "We fought alongside you the whole time but you were not here."
"I know, the realm." Andy said.
Jinxx nodded. "Was it bad?"
Andy sniffled. "What do you think?"
Jinxx shrugged slightly. "Sorry. Let's wrap this up and go home." He flicked his wrist and a flame appeared. He threw it at the leader and she burst into flames.
Andy's P.O.V
I saw the licks of red and yellow burning high. It was burning my enemy. Our enemy. It was burning all we knew as F.E.A.R.
I couldn't be happier but I still didn't understand. I wasn't here with everyone else. I mean, yeah I had been here physically, but not mentally. I had been blind and deaf in a nightmare world.
How in bloody, fucking hell had I managed to kill the F.E.A.R leader? I was going to have to ask Michelle to tell me what I had done in detail because I still wasn't clear on this all.
"Andy, you're back!" C.C said coming over and hugging me.
I looked away from his hands covered in blood and up at his dirt stained face. "How's everything else? Casualties?"
His smile vanished as I watched his complexion turn from a light brown to pale ghost white.
My heart sank. I looked behind him and made a quick check. Ashley, Jake, Jinxx, Michelle, and C.C all here. All blood stained and dirty, but here.
"How many?" I asked, afraid of the answer. He didn't answer. Instead he turned around and asked me to follow him.
I walked around all of the bodies on the floor, searching for one of our soldiers. I couldn't find any though, and all I saw were the lifeless carcasses of the F.E.A.R guards.
My heart raced as I tried to tell myself that it wasn't going to be that bad. Everything was going to be okay. It was all going to be fine.
But it wasn't because we had lost someone. We had taken them out from their safe survivor camp and had brought them all the way out here to their deaths.
I shook it off as we approached the crowd survivors. They were all looking at the same thing on the floor.
C.C asked for them to part and they did, revealing the body of a girl on the floor. There was a gaping hole over the spot where her heart was supposed to be, but the cavity was empty.
Her dark hair covered her face, so I reached down at uncovered her eyes. They were closed peacefully.
"What was here name?" I asked.
"Eve. Her name was Eve Black." A girl said from the crowd. She was crying, sniffling now and then.
I looked down at Eve and picked her up. "We're taking her with us." I said.
C.C called the rest of the rebels and they appeared behind us in a minute. "Let's go home." I said and we all looked back where home was.
