Andy's P.O.V

"Christian, I said push not pull. I'm pulling." I said in desperation. We had been trying to put this goddamn table back in the meeting room for about twenty minutes now.

"Push, pull. It's the same fucking thing." Finally he started pushing and the table started to move again.

Michelle and Ashley waited inside the meeting room for us to bring in the table so we could set everything back to normal. How helpful, no?

I pulled one last time with all the strength I could muster and C.C did the same. (Except he pushed... finally.) The table gave in and went into the room in a vertical position.

Ashley and Michelle helped us put it back on the floor horizontally and we pushed it to where it had originally been.

I wiped my brow to get rid of the sweat beads that clung to it. "And that concludes this episode of Redecorating your Own Rebel Hideout." I mumbled leaning against the table.

Since last night and the talk the guys had given me I was feeling much more like myself again. I was still bummed out about Eve but I was going to be okay.

Michelle chuckled at my lame joke and planted a kiss on my cheek before hugging my arm. She rested her head on my shoulder and smiled up at me with a wink.

She could tell I was feeling better, I knew it.

"Okay love birds, we still have crap to fix so stop the smut!" C.C said pulling Michelle by the hand to help him here the chairs.

"Smut?" She asked in confusion. I shook my head slightly with a chuckle. C.C's my life.

We put the chairs back to where they were before the survivors arived and soon the meeting room looked like it had before the chaos.

"So, I think Jinxx and Jake will arrive soon, maybe early this afternoon. Why don't we cook something cool for them?" I suggested.

"That's a cool idea." Ashley commented. "C.C, why don't you come and help me cook something just like yesterday?"

"Sure, Ash." Chuppy replied and happily jumped his way to Ashley. They left the room to get their stuff going and I watched Ash lock the door behind him with a wink to me.

I shook my head. That creepy little friend of mine. I smiled at the closed door before I turned to Michelle.

We hadn't been alone in a really long time. I mean we hadn't really talked in a really long time. I think the last time we were alone for real was when we cried in each other's arms that night before the battle.

We were both so socially awkward so being alone was always bittersweet. Awkward and perfect at the same time.

"Don't give me that look." Michelle said with a smile.

"Look?" I asked.

"Everytime we're alone you give me that look like you don't know what to say." She said. I blushed a bit at my obviousness.

"That's because I don't know what to say." I smiled. "I mean, romance? We're differents as far as I'm concerned. I'll probably fuck things up if I tried." I said honestly.

I mean, just imagine me trying to make a candlelit dinner for Michelle. Nope. The food would catch on fire and probably so would my hair. That was not going to happen.

A nice date? To where? The kitchen? We legit live in a wasteland. This is our only space and to my knowledge, there are no restaurants around the corner.

"You don't have to be romatic. Just be yourself. You've got a great personality." She said coming over and giving me a hug.

She burried her face in my shirt. I placed a kiss on the top of her head and sighed. "I'm just awkward."

"So am I. So it's okay. I also don't know what to say." She said lifting her head from my chest so I could understand what she was saying.

"Then don't say anything." I said softly. My hand cupped her chin and brought her head up to me.

"And you say you don't know romance." She whispered before our lips connected.

It was just as exciting as that first kissed we shared in the late night walk that day. My heart raced incredibly fast inside my chest just like it was going to burst.

We broke the kiss but didn't move too far apart. Our foreheads still touched as we caught our breath quietly.
