Michelle's P.O.V

The journey back to the building was everything but eventful. It was quiet and awkward full of sniffling survivors and long faces. We had been victorious. We had defeated F.E.A.R, finally.

It all seemed surreal, honestly. The battle hadn't been very long but it had been the hardest thing I had ever had to do.

I don't want to think about it quite yet, though. I like this trance I'm in for the moment.

Anyway, we made it back rather quickly with Andy carrying Eve in his arms the whole time. Poor girl had died an honorable death, yet death was still death. She had ended her life in the name of defending her present.

Brave and independent girl she had been. I had seen her death unfold right before my eyes.

I had turned back to steal a glance at the fighting soldiers only to see a sight worthy of a nightmare. She was fighting against a guard, crying and screaming something about her parents when the F.E.A.R guard stabbed her right in the heart.

After that he reached in with his bare hands and had pulled out her heart. Her eyes then closed immediately and she dropped to the floor, limp and lifeless.

My stomach turned at the memories and I shook them away softly, knowing that they would never fully leave my head.

Now we were standing at the front door, having barely arrived. Andy placed Eve on the floor and we all crowded around her. In our hearts we felt defeated even though we had won the war.

"Rest in peace Eve Black." Andy began. "I didn't know her much but she was a brave individual. She traveled all the way from the comfort and safety of the place she called home only to fight for what she believed in. She stood with us and fought for sweet freedom, only to be ripped from her life." There was a moment of silence before Andy continued.

"She laughed in the face of F.E.A.R with us. She screamed her fuck yous with us in the heat of battle and she tried with all her might to free herself from all F.E.A.R. Now rest in peace Eve Black, rest in peace you undying soldier. Let this fallen angel rest in peace in all of our hearts as a reminder of what fighting F.E.A.R was like. She might not be here with us physically, but in our hearts she will live forever."

Jinxx approached Andy and waited for his nod before flicking his wrist and throwign the small ball of dancing flames at the girl.

Her body was engulfed in flames quickly and we all watched it burn in a quick act of goodbye. Not only had we lost an enemy today, but we had lost a friend.

.-.

Andy took the box that Jinxx handed him and put the girl's ashes into the opening. When he was done he handed the box to the crying girl who had revealed Eve's name.

"Thank you." She said in between sniffles and hugged Andy her goodbye.

Andy hugged her back and watched her disappear into the crowd of survivors. "Be careful out there." Andy whispered into Jake's ear before he too joined the mob.

They were going back home. That's where they belonged and Jake and Jinxx were taking them there.

"Before you leave I would like to express my undying gratitude for you. You stood with us in the face of danger and fought with us in this unbelievably hard war to win. I know we may have lost a beloved part of our army of rebels but, we also won our freedom. Feel free to come and visit whenever you please and never be afraid to ask for our help. We are here for each and every single one of you." Andy said. "Thank you."

We all nodded in agreement alongside him and watched how they all left under the leadership of Jinxx and Jake.

Andy's P.O.V

After Jinxx and Jake began their journey, the rest ot us went into the building to rest. It had been a long day.

C.C and Ash decided to go to the kitchen and prepare some dinner with whatever they could find and Michelle and I went into our room.

The door clicked behind me as I went inside and sat on the bed with my girl. She looked up at me with weary eyes.

"You have no idea what those bastards made me see." I whispered hugging her close.

"What was it?" She asked locking her brown eyes to my crystal blue ones.

"You died." I whispered chocking back a sob. "Ash died. Chupps died. Jake died. Jinxx died. You all died. Crucified and lifeless." I said remembering the horror.

"Oh Andy, don't worry." She soothed as the tears flew freely down my face. "It's not real, we're all okay."

"I know but I almost broke. I swear I almost broke under their influence." I said in between my crying. "It was all too real."

"But you were a beast out there." She said. "You didn't break. You lunged at the leader and stabbed her life out. You saved us all."

I sighed. "Oh. I'm nobody's hero."

She broke the hug and stared at me with an incredulous expression. "What are you talking about? You saved us all. Do you have any idea on how many people you saved with your words? With your actions? You are a gifted individual Andrew. I can't believe that you think you're nobody's hero. You're my hero. You're the hero of us all. Don't be stupid." She hugged me tightly burrying her face in my neck.

I stood in silence at her words. Did she really mean her words? Could I, weird angsty guy, Andy Biersack, the creepy guy in the corner who could see the future, the freak, be a hero?

I sighed and closed my eyes.

"All I want to do is sleep." I said.

"Same." Michelle agreed pulling the covers aside and patting a spot on the bed for me. "Come on."

A/N: Kind of a filler chapter sorta. :) But there will be more to come so if you're a fan of this story (doubt it) stay tuned!
