Michelle's P.O.V
C.C smiled as he did it again. His eyes closed shut, he sat criss cross on the floor and sang. "So here I write my lullaby to all the lonely ones." His voice was really good. "Come on join in."
I looked at him sideways with an awkward smile. "How will this help me strengthen my mind exactly?" I asked. He was singing some song I had never heard before and closing his eyes. Like he was praying or something.
C.C's eyes opened and he rolled them towards the sky. "I told you already. It helps you focus your mind and it trains memorization." He stood up and came to me. "When you're trying to strengthen your abilities you have memorize exactly what you did to make them come to you."
"But how do you even know this song? You live in the middle of nowhere. I don't suppose there's a local radio?" I said in hopes that he would say yes.
He laughed sarcastically before slapping my arm. "You're hilarious." He said with a smirk. "Of course not. Andy writes this stuff."
I gave him a puzzled look. "Andy writes music?" I asked.
Okay, so at first I have to admit that I thought Andy was cute. I mean have you looked at his freaking eyes!? They're goddamn blue! But anyway, I didn't quite like him, like him.
But now, he's such a good teacher and he writes music and he's so caring for the guys. He's just so good. He's so good.
"Yeah, most of the stuff inside his journals are songs. He writes lyrics now and then and he puts them together later. The one I sang was Saviour." C.C explained the answer to my question.
I smiled trying to hide my true feelings and simply nodded. "That's really cool."
"I know." C.C said before taking my hand and pulling me down to the floor. "Now sit and sing with me."
I crossed my legs and closed my eyes, imitating C.C. "So here I write my lullaby to all the lonely ones." We sang together.
.-.
Andy's P.O.V
"So how's it going with her?" Ashley asked as he leaned across from the meetings table, putting his journal to the side.
I knew he was talking about Michelle, I mean what other female could he be talking about. We live in the middle of fucking nowhere. Either way, I asked him what he was talking about.
"With who?"
Ashley did his trademark roll of his brown eyes and sighed. "The goddamn table. Who do you think I'm talking about?! Michelle, Andy, I'm talking about Michelle."
I had been trying to avoid the subject with Ashley these past couple of days. The truth is that I haven't gotten a chance to hang out with her since she got here.
She's been hanging out with C.C and honeslty it's sorta suspicious. What the hell are they doing in his room? I tried asking last night and she says it's nothing. They're just "hanging around".
"It's all good, I guess." I said finally.
"What do you mean, you guess? When are you going to make a move on her?" Ashley asked being as impatient as ever. "Listen Andrew, if you don't hurry up I'm going to be the one who makes a move on her."
I felt that, now familiar, pang of jelaousy in my stomach. "No you fucking aren't." I said. "I need my time."
"You need time? Andy, she's been here for like a week now. One whole week. And all she does is sit in Chuppy's room. If you're not careful I think he'll get her."
"I saw the prophecy Ash." I reminded him, although it felt more like I was reminding myself. "Me and her in the moonlight holding hands. We were together and loving it."
"Mhm. And how exactly are you planning to make that a reality, captain?" Ashley asked giving me a sarcastic smile.
"I don't know, okay? I don't know yet." I said in frustration. "I can't just go up and tell her 'hey babe, we're destined to be together. I saw it in a prophecy.' Ashley, girls don't like that."
"That's actually a good pick up line." Ashley said tapping his finger on his chin.
I rolled my eyes in pure agony. "Ashley, no." I said.
Ashley rolled his eyes once more and stood up. He came over to where I was pacing and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Look, I'm just joking aroud with you. If you saw it in the prophecy it most likely will come true. Take all the time you need. She's not going anywhere." Ashley said with a reassuring smile.
"Thank you. I'm just... a little tired." I explained. "Actually, I think I'm going to go lay down." I said with a smile. "See ya 'round."
I walked out of the room and tried to make my way to my room as fast as I could. But then I saw the door to C.C's room and I couldn't help but listen.
"No, no. Sing, come on. With your heart." C.C's voice came from inside his room.
"I'm not good." Michelle complained.
"We're training your mind. Nobody cares if you're good or not, just sing! But to be honest I think you're wonderful." C.C said.
Is he flirting with her?
Michelle laughed and then cleared her throat. "So hear my voice remind you not to bleed, I'm here." She sang. "Like that?"
C.C was right, she wasn't that bad.
"Yes beautiful, like that!" C.C said.
I felt that goddamn jealousy in my stomach again and wanted to run into the room and take her away.
But of course I didn't. I just stuck my ear closer to the door.
"Andy?" I heard Jake's voice and jumped.
He was coming out of his room with his journal in hands. He must've been studying like always.
I didn't know how to respond so I just smiled and made a begging motion with my hands. He just smiled knowingly and rolled his eyes a bit.
"Just go." He whispered.
"Thanks" I said in relief and ran off to my room.
