Andy's P.O.V

Yeah, so smooth and original. 'Tell me about yourself.' Ew. It's just, I couldn't think about any other way to get her to talk about herself. She seems a little closed about it.

I watched her as she looked down at her lap and smiled. It's like she was thinking about ways to correctly communicate herself to me.

Again, why was she acting this way around me? I repeat for the whole world to hear me, I AM JUST A REGULAR MAN! It's not like I'm special in any way. Just tell me about yourself!

"Oh come on, just tell me." I said with a smile. "Like, just... what's your favourite color?"

"Purple." She said. "Yours?"

"I like green and black." I said simply. "What about, where you were born?"

"Milwaukee, in Wisconsin." She said. "Such a gloomy place in the winter and fall, but I'm not complaining. I like the rain and snow."

"I know what you mean. I'm from Ohio and the snow and everything was also there, mostly year round." I commented. "It's comforting, no?"

"What is?"

"The cold."

She smiled. "Yeah, it's just that in the cold you can curl up with a blanket and just read or listen to your favourite band."

I nodded. "Yeah I know, and the hot can be so annoying sometimes."

She smiled. "Yes! I know what you mean. Sweating and the having to wear shorts and all the stuff."

My heart fluttered a bit as I realized the small quirks we had in common. Liking the night over the day, the cold over the hot.

"I see your close to C.C, he's a nice guy." I blurted. I keep repeating, some people just make me blurt my things out. And this girl is one of them.

It's not fair.

Her eyes went wide for a couple of seconds and then she smiled nervously. "Yeah we're just friends, you know? It's just, he was the first to hang out with me and show me around so, he's special to me." She said. "I mean, it was kind of hard in the beginning to try and cope with all this... transition, and C.C was there for me."

"Ash was my C.C." I looked up at the moon and remembered how it was in the beginning. To wake up shaking and crying every night of that first week, in that goddamn cell, wishing I was with my mom.

And then here in this building, struggling with my prophecies. Damn it. It was hard. Like convulsions. Like attacks.

"Oh yeah?" Michelle asked cocking an eyebrow.

I chuckled. "Yeah I know. Ashley. But don't get fooled by his bad boy demeanor, he's really nice and sweet. He stood by my side in the beginning, helping me get back to sleep when I woke up in tears." I looked back at her and smiled. "He's strong."

"Either that, or he can hide his feelings of pain extremely well." Michelle said.

"Maybe, but either way, he's very selfless. I admire that from him." I said in complete honesty.

I never think about it much but Ash has been a very important part in my life. He's been with me through thick and thin. I should tell him that more often.

"Have you had the chance to hang out with him?"

She pointed at her face. "Well he did this." She laughed. "But, I don't know. He's such a flirt."

My stomach did a bigass somersault and landed somewhere between my heart and my throat.

Jealousy, that bitch.

I forced a smile. "Yeah... You know... that was part of the escape plan."

"What was?"

"Ashley flirted with one of the female F.E.A.R guards and she let him "borrow" the key to go for a "walk." And then it turned into a group thing and we had to do some other stuff along the way but, you could say it was thanks to him being a flirt." I laughed.

Michelle smiled and looked up at the sky unbelievably. "Wow! That's so him!" She laughed.

Her laugh made me feel funny inside. It wasn't a particularly beautiful laugh or a laugh that was magical but, it was just her laugh. It belonged to her.

I know it sounds cheesy and I never thought I would feel this way, yet here I am. I'm sitting in the middle of nowhere laughing with this girl instead of training in my room for a F.E.A.R. uprising.

Where has my life gone?

And it's not like I'm complaining but... it's so different... and I like it.

Michelle's P.O.V

Andy was looking at me funny as I laughed about Ash and his award deserving flirt with the F.E.A.R guard. Was my laugh too obnoxious? Was I laughing too hard? I mean it wasn't that funny.

I stopped laughing gradually and cleared my throat at the end. Me and my big mouth.

"Yeah he's... special." Andy said with a smile.

"You all are." I commented. "Ashley, The Deviant, C.C The Destroyer, Jinxx is The Mystic, Jake is The Mourner and you. You are The Prophet."

Andy blushed slightly. "The weird kid in the fucking corner of the world who can see the future..."

I opened my mouth in disbelief. "Whatever Andrew!" I pushed him on the shoulder playfully. "You're wondeful at what you do! Sweet God, you don't give yourself enough credit."

I shook my head no. What does he mean 'the weird kid in the fucking corner of the world who can see the future'? He's so gifted and he can't see that.

It honestly bothers me that he can't see how wondeful he is.

"I'm just a kid." He said with a smile.

"Goddamn it Andy, don't say that. Do you know how far you've gotten? Fuck, people back in the F.E.A.R cells talk about you guys! We all look up to you." I looked into his unbeliever eyes. "Andy, you're great."

He looked down at his lap for a moment and then at our interlinked hands. He smiled at them and then looked up at me.

"I'm great?" He asked.

"Unbelievably." I said in all honesty.

And then without a warning he smiled, leaned in, and kissed me.

A/N:
Ooh! Kiss! Do it! I got carried away with a little Andley in the middle but whatevs. I am a fangirl and I am NOT sorry.

Peace.
