Andy's P.O.V
"Perfect! That way we have strong members on both sides of the operation. And a fast and helpful offensive team at the battlefield and a great defense at the base! That's brilliant." Jinxx said looking at the scribbles Michelle had worked on last night.
"Yeah, I though that if you went with Jake and picked up the survivors it would be a good idea because you're abilities are incredibly useful. You can help be offensive if things het tough on the way and you have good leadership too." Michelle explained. "And just incase we have trouble when you're gone we have a destroyer, a deviant, and a prophet here to defend."
I looked at her in admiration. An entire night and I couldn't even figure out who to send to the camps. Her plan was great so far, and I didn't see that last night.
I blame sleep.
She looked over at me and smiled as if to say "I told ya so". I returned the smiled and looked down at her plans.
"Awesome. Now we need to find the perfect time to travel to the camps and plan our journey." Jinxx said rolling up Michelle's writting and putting it in his boot. "Jake and I will work on it and get back to you guys later okay?"
Michelle, C.C, Ash and I nodded and agreement and watched as Jinxx and Jake disappeared into the hallway.
"What's our plan here? At the... uh, base." C.C asked.
I shrugged. "We'll have to set up a way where all the survivors can live and train here until another prophecy appears for me." I explained. "I mean, we still don't know when the F.E.A.R. soldiers will appear."
That's what is was, suspense. That heartless bitch. Suspense was what killed me the most in these types of situations.
What came next? Nobody knew that. I only relied on my prophecies and when they didn't come it drove me insane.
C.C and Ashley both nodded. "Well, I don't know about all of you but I'm hungry. Wanna head to the kitchen?" Ashley asked standing up and walking to the door.
C.C jumped at the mention of food and followed Ash like a puppy, close behind. Ash looked at me expectantly, waiting for an answer.
I nodded. "Go ahead, we'll catch up later." I said and Ash left with C.C close behind.
I turned to Michelle and she gave me a weird look.
Michelle's P.O.V
Ashley and C.C disappeared the same way Jinxx and Jake had gone. I looked at Andy with a sideways glaze. What did he want to talk about? Had he had another prophecy?
"What is it?" I asked, giving into my curiosity.
Andy smiled and shook his head no. He came over to me and hugged me from behind. "I'm just a little overwhelmed and wanted some alone time with you."
I loved how sincere he had been lately. Sharing his feelings was healthy for a stressed guy like Andy. He was always bottled up but since we'd started dating he'd started opening up, little by little.
"You're overwhelmed?" I asked.
"I've been through this once before and beating F.E.A.R wasn't easy. I was in constant fear that I'd lose my best friends in battle and it's easy to get comfortable in F.E.A.R." Andy said in almost a whisper.
"Get comfortable?"
"F.E.A.R can promise you so many things and tell you that our sense of freedom is merely temporary but please promise me that you won't place your trust in F.E.A.R."
"I promise." I whispered back.
He turned me over so that I was facing him and gave me a quick kiss. "Thank you." He smiled and held out his hand for me after breaking the hug.
"I've been through F.E.A.R too Andy, and I know the things F.E.A.R can promise. Empty promises coming from hollow beings. It's sick and twisted and you should know that I would never fall into their arms again." I said so that he'd be reassured.
He nodded with a smile and mouthed an 'I love you' before we left the room and made our way to the kitchen.
.-.
"And that covers the food problem." Jake finished explaining.
Seeing him talk was the most peculiar thing I had seen so far. He was almost never around and to see him here with us all, talking, was rare.
"In one week?" Andy asked reading the piece of paper Jake held once again.
"Yes Andy, we'll travel in one week down to the survivor camps. Don't worry, I have memorized the way." There was a thing about Jake's gray aura that changed when he said he had "memorized" the way.
Because yeah, Jake was glowing gray.
"Okay and then you'll spend the night at the camps because according to your calculations, you'll arive at night?" Andy asked for the second time.
"Exactly, then we'll travel back the same way and besides the food we'll take, they have food in the camps so that won't be a problem." Jake answered.
I looked over at Andy, waiting for his reaction and saw him nod at the plan with a smile. "Okay. Yeah this sounds effective."
"We also have a plan for the base." Ashley chimed in reaching for the rolled up pieceof paper in his boot.
He put it in front of Jake and Jinxx, smoothing it out on the table. Andy stood up from his chair and went over to explain the plan.
"Basically what we'll do is take the meeting room and make it into a big bedroom for the survivors to stay in. I know they aren't many and that's why the meeting room will do just fine." Andy said pointing at the upper pargraph on the sheet. "The training will be in basic F.E.A.R knowledge and excersize. We want them to be strong and educated. After that we'll simply wait for the next prophecy that guides us to the next step."
Jinxx nodded giving Andy back the plan we had written out after breakfast. "That's logical." Jinxx said. "We should be alright."
Andy looked around the room, at everyone of the guys before landing his eyes on me. "We should." I sighed.
