Michelle's P.O.V

"Are you sure you weren't doing anything in the meeting room that night?" C.C asked once again as he picked up a boulder and smashed it to pieces against the floor.

I leaned away to lessen the blow as flying pieces of rock flew everywhere. My hands flew up to my face as an instinct. "Yes Chuppy, let it go. It's literally been two days since you found us in the meeting room."

C.C clapped his hands together to get rid of the dust the rock had created and put both his hands on his hips. "Okay I belive you. But I just find it very very suspicious that you two just slept in there."

I sighed. "It's been like three days since Andy and I have been dating. It's not the time." I murmured.

"Then when is?" C.C asked with a smirk.

"Don't be nosy. It's none of your business." I got up from the floor and dusted myself off. "Plus, I have to go find Andy and make sure he's not working too hard again."

"Mhm." Chuppy said sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes at him before turning around and starting to walk into the building. All morning C.C and I had been training in front of the building to make sure we where strong in case something happend.

We're going to have to be in our best shape for the upcoming uprising and training was the best way to ensure that. Andy, of course, had been working on perfectioning the plan we had already created.

I sighed to myself as I turned the corner and walked into the hallway.

The door to the meeting room was open and I could clearly see Andy in there, working as he had been these couple of days.

He was the only one working this hard, the rest of us had been training too, but in moderation. We weren't wearing ourselves to the bone.

Jinxx had been locked in his room with Jake these past couple of days working on their abilities. I still can't figure out what Jake can do but I'm still working on that.

Andy's head snapped up when he heard someone coming into the room. He smiled when he saw it was me and told me to lock the door.

I did as told. "What did I tell you about working this hard?" I said like a mother when I turned around.

I think I might be taking Mama Jinxx's spot if Andy keeps working this hard. He needs to understand that life isn't all work and that he must taking it easy now and then.

"I know but I'm done now so it's okay." He said stuffing the pieces of paper into a folder. "I was just about to go looking for you."

"Why's that?" I asked in confusion.

"You were telling me to take it easy and that's what I wanted to do." Andy said coming over and giving me a hug from behind. "And who better to take it easy than with you?"

I smiled as we swayed slightly. "What do you propose on doing? We do after all live in a wasteland." I reminded him.

I was glad that he was taking it easy but what could we do in this place. Take another walk? It was becoming kind of old.

"I don't care what we do, as long as we do it together." Andy said. "Why can't we just hang out though? Just talk in our room or something?"

I turned around and hugged him properly. Now that Andy buzzed under my touch, everything was more exciting. Evey hug and hold of the hand was more exciting, more vivid, more real. It was incredible. "Okay, let's do that."

We broke the embrace and left the meeting room. We walked down the hallway and to our room. This was bound to be both interesting and awkward.

Andy's P.O.V

I pushed the door of our room open and held it for Michelle as she went in. She said a small thank you as she went in and opened up the curtains, letting the sunlight come in.

I sat on the bed, facing the door and Michelle sat on the floor next to my feet.

"Come sit up here with me." I said patting the spot on the bed besides me.

"No, I like the floor better. I'm comfortable." She said resting her head on the bed. "How are you feeling?" She asked.

I sighed. "I'm okay now that the plan is complete, but I'm still scared for what's to come."

"Same. But I trust in you guys. You're all smart and incredibly brave so I know we'll make it through." She said confidently.

I felt her stand up as she came and sat next to me, resting her head on my shoulder. I put my hand over her shoulders and smiled.

"I'm more comfortable here actually." She whispered.

"I'm glad." I whispered back.

There was a moment of silence before Michelle let out a big sigh.

"Andy, what's going to happen if we fail?" Her question left me breathless.

I prefered not to think about that outcome. There was no "if we fail" in my head. I had trained myself so that I only though about the positive outcome and not... death.

Because that's what would happen if we failed. We would all be killed by F.E.A.R for rebelling against them. We would be a model to all of the survivors of what would happen if they rebelled too.

"I'm sorry for asking." Michelle said finally. "You don't have to answer. I want you to relax and I bring this up, I'm sorry."

She turned to me and placed her hand on my cheek. I did the same and we both leaned in for a kiss. It wasn't long but it was what I needed.

"It's okay." I said when we were apart. "It just freaked me out a bit, that's all."

"Let's forget about it okay?" She asked. "Let's just go out and play around yeah?"

I laughed. "Play date?"

She laughed with me. "Yeah, play date."
