Michelle's P.O.V
My hair was teased to no end. Sticking out in every direction, looking like a freaking ball of spikes. Yeah, it looked cool but I was only going out for a walk.
"Great! Now that your hair is done, we will move on to the make up." Ashley said digging into his chest.
He came back with two tubes of black face make up, black lipstick, black eyeliner and black eye shadow.
"Where the hell did you get this stuff?" I asked.
"I snuck all this stuff in before I was caught by F.E.A.R. I can't live without this stuff."
"Do you really think it's necessary though? For the walk, I mean."
I really wasn't going anywhere. Plus I would feel sort of over dressed next to Andy in make up. It's not like he was going to wear a suit and tie.
Ashley rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Trust me when I say that Andy likes make up."
"Yeah but it's just a walk."
Ashley opened the eye liner and motioned for me to close my eyes. I did as told and got close to Ashley.
Honestly, I half expected him to kiss me, but in a matter of seconds I felt the tip of the liner on my right eye.
"Yeah but Andy really does like make up. Haven't you seen the rest of us wearing make up these last couple of days? Andy started it. He used to go all out with make up back in the day but, he's stopped recently." He moved on to the next eye. "Plus, you look like a rock star."
He finished with eyeliner and moved on with the eyeshadow. The brush felt soft against my eyelids as he moved it back and forth in a circular motion. He had skills in make up.
"Open up." Ashley said. I opened my eyes carefully and blinked a couple of times.
He leaned back to admire his work and handed me a compact mirror. "After you take a look I'll do your lips."
I took a look in the small mirror and checked out my reflection. He had done a great job. I hadn't felt so pretty in a very, very long time.
So long trapped inside that goddamn church. Then so long laying in a pile of rubble, cold and completely helpless. And now living in the middle of nowhere.
My physical appearance had been my last priority these last couple of months. Maybe even a year. Time is irrelevant now.
"So how's that?"
I nodded. "Yeah that looks awesome."
"Cool, now give me that lipstick."
I handed him the lipstick and the lip liner thing. He uncapped them and started to draw on my lips. Literally draw on my lips.
He started on the edge and drew lines to the middle of my lips and then filled it in with the lipstick.
"Andy used to do this with his own. He'll appreciate it." Ash winked as he capped all of his make up and threw it into his chest.
I looked into the mirror again and smiled. I looked different and beautiful at the same time. Wow, Ash was really gifted in the art of makeup. He had made me look truly great.
"So how's it look?" He asked impatiently.
"It looks fucking awesome Ash, thanks." I hugged him and looked at my reflection again.
Ashley looked down at his boots and started picking at his belt buckle. "You know what?"
"What?"
"If Andy hadn't seen you in his vision, you know, if he didn't have feelings for you-"
"Feelings for me?"
"Yeah. If he didn't feel what he feels for you, I would've gone for it." Ashley said as he winked at me.
"What?"
"I would've gone for you Michelle." He smiled. "But, we all know that's not gonna work out so... I've given up." He said with a shrug. " Andy and you are gonna have fun tonight."
I sighed in total anxiety. "I hope it's just a walk."
Ashley stopped and stared at me. "Really?" Nod. "No! Michelle, go for it!"
"Go for what?"
I'm getting tired of being so clueless all the time.
"Go for Andy! Be sexy!"
I laughed in disbelief. "Ashley you can't be serious." I shook my head. "I barely know Andy."
"Don't you think that getting close with him would be a great way to get to know him?" Ashley said raising his eyebrows repeatedly. "That way you'd get to know all of him." He winked.
"Ha ha ha. No way Ashley. It's just a friendly walk."
"Mhm, we'll see where that takes you."
"We will see and I promise it'll just be a friendly walk where he asks me 'how's it been?'" I said starting to pace back and forth in front of the door.
"Promise is a very strong word."
"And that's why I used it."
Ashley shook his head. "Whatever you say. Now, it's getting dark outside. I think you should wait for Andy out there."
I sighed. "Okay."
I turned around and turned to knob on the door. This was bound to be interesting.

Just a filler chapter that I'm not too confident about but I hope you like. :)
