I type into my laptop, I found this quote on Pinterest, and it gave me the idea I need to start this book.
I've been having ideas for these books since I don't know when, I just didn't know how to start. My eyes move down to the time that is written in the right corner. 5:13.
Fuck, I have to write the review for Once upon a broken heart. I promised that I'll post something on 5:30, but I totally forgot about it, and now I have 17 minutes to do that, yay.
I open Chrome and google 'Good reads' so I can log into my account. This book been a 4.75 stars read for me if that's possible, there is still something missing, so I can give it 5 Stars.
Lately I've been trying to get into some new genres, I'm trying fantasy right now. I read the first book of the Shatter me Series, and I know we're supposed to hate Aaron in this, but goddamn it, why do villains gotta be this hot.
Jacks is also supposed to be bad and evil, but for me, he is just an angry puppy, or something hotter.
Anyway this book didn't disappoint me, the Characters are well written, the Stepsister got me believing it was all an accident for a second, so there still were some surprises. But to be fair I spoiled myself a lot, I saw a lot of the book on Bookstagram and Booktok, and I started with the last page. I kind of always do, I like to know what is going to happen.
I'm thinking of going to the bookstore later and to get the epilogue. Furthermore, I want more Jacks and Evangeline, especially more Jacks. But their relationship is adorable. It
I need to concentrate on that review now, I've been not posting regularly like I usually do, because of school, and I'm pretty much always out with friends or Ollie. Not that I'm complaining.
I press on the "I'm finished!" Button in the corner, then I give it 4 stars (because there is no 4.75 stars option)and press in the blank space to write my review.
This was so much better than I excepted it to be, I was kinda afraid of reading the book, although I really liked the cover (I still do) the book in general is gorgeous.
Back to the point, I excepted it to be boring, but it definitely wasn't, I loved this book and the characters, don't let me get started with Jacks oh dear god,
I enjoyed seeing how the characters got closer, or how we saw them grow. Another thing that I really liked is that Evangeline never forget her beliefs even after she went through all this horrible stuff, she believed in true love and that even Jacks can be good.
The reason this isn't a five-star read must be that there are still too many questions open in y opinion. In the end we did find a bit more about Jacks out, but there is still so much we don't know, and sometimes I was just like "What? Did I miss something?"
Maybe I have to read the second book to get the answers. It's still a great book, and I think it's pretty good for people who want to get into fantasy (like me.)
I look at the clock 5:20, I'm pretty fast, hehe. I copy all and press post. Now I just gotta post this on my other accounts. I took some pictures and videos the other day when I was in the park from the book, so I just have to write my caption and some hashtags.
First I log into my Account, and then I press on the plus over my profile. I choose 5 Pictures, one of the Book's cover, three of my favorite quotes and the last one from the plot summary on the back.
My phone starts ringing, and I look at the call ID. It's Ollie. I press the green button. "Hey, what's up, Smart ass?" I answer smiling, keeping my eyes on the screen. I press paste. And scroll up, so I can write a quote on top of the review.
"Not much, just gotta write this essay for one of my classes. Whatcha doing?"
"I- Drugs." I say without thinking about it. Oops, I have to think before speaking. I can just tell him that I'm a Bookstagrammer, it's not a crime, doing drugs is.
"What?"
"Nothing forget it, haha." I write 'he held on her as if she were a grudge' on the top and put three stars under it to separate it from the rest of the Review.
"So I've been thinking..."
"About?" I ask him. I scroll down and put another three stars to separate the review again, from the other things I'm about to write, first I put the book title and add the author. Then I write down which tropes you can find in the book. I write my stars and the spice level (1). Then I press publish.
"Do you want to hang out later?" I go to the comments to write my tags in one.
"If you want to, you can come over, Ava is at some friends or boyfriends, I don't know" I take a quick look around my room, I have to clean it. I write 'Tags 🏷' in the comments and reply with all the hashtags I usually use.
"Sure, I'll be there in 10" he tells me, but it sounds more like a question. "Okayyy, see ya." I reply, while turning off my laptop.
"Bye, blue bird" he says before hanging up. I stand up from my desk, so I can clean my room a bit before he is here.
I had to meet up with a study group at 7am and had no time at all to do anything. Not even my bed, so I'll do it now.
I make my bed and take some cloths that are lying around to put them in the laundry basket, in the bathroom. Then I open my window to let some fresh air get in as soon as I finished with cleaning the door rings, perfect timing.
I walk to the door and open it. "Hi" I give him a peck on the lips, he smiles at me.
"Want to go in my room?" I ask him while closing the door, as I realize what this could sound like I correct myself, "Not like that!" I hear him chuckle, which gets me to smile.
"Yeah, sure" we walk into my room and I sit down on my bed.
"So, what do you want to do?" he asks me.
"We should watch a movie." I don't remember the last time we watched one together.
"Yes. We could watch Tangled!" I smile, that's my favorite movie.
"Let's do it, can you turn on my Laptop?" I ask, 'cuz I don't want to move, he nods, then turns around and starts it.
"What's the password?"
"12345678" he glares at me, "What? It's easy to remember!"
"And easy to hack" I roll my eyes.
"You sound just like Ava right now." he laughs and then logs into my account. He opens Disney+ but suddenly he pauses like someone pressed pause on a movie.
"Smart ass?" he turns around showing me the picture I showed under my keyboard on Halloween, I froze, I totally forgot about that.
"I don't want to sound like a jealous boyfriend, cause I'm not, this picture is obviously taken in High school, but can I ask why it's lying under your keyboard?"
I don't answer, because I don't know what I'm supposed to say, That's a picture of my High school boyfriend who used to scream at me and beat me up for doing the smallest mistake, but I still couldn't get over my self and trow it away hi hi
I would sound like a total psychopath, and I don't want him to think that I'm crazy. "Blue bird?" He asks after I didn't give him an answer. I take a deep breath, "I found the picture on Halloween, I didn't know I took it with me and..."
I try to not cry, I should not cry right now. "And I didn't want to trow it away I guess, or I wasn't ready, I don't know. Can we please just watch the movie." he puts the picture back, I know that he knows that I'm not telling him everything, but he is still respecting my boundaries, which is good?
He is good.
He turns on the movie and lays down next to me, I put my head on his shoulder as his arms go around my waist
