It was the end of the week and Jay was currently cleaning up his and Haileys bedroom and their en suit as him and Hailey liked to do a deep clean of the house once a week, they did it every Sunday and they would divide up different jobs between them and work together to get the whole house fresh, clean and organised for the new week ahead. Hailey had just finished cleaning the living room and kitchen and she had just left to go out to the supermarket to complete her and Jays weekly shop.

Jay had just finished cleaning him and Haileys bedroom he dusted, put on fresh sheets, wiped down the surfaces, vacuumed, organised and decluttered some things that were laying about and then cleaned their mirrors and windows. He made his was to their bathroom and started cleaning it, he decided to organise the cabinets under the sink as they would sometimes get over filled with lots of products like shampoo, conditioner, toothpastes etc. Jay had been organising for a while and was almost done, there was just a couple things at the back of the cabinet he had to go through. He found a bag and opened it thinking it was going to be full of toiletries but when he looked in it he knew for a fact he wasn't looking at any toiletries, there was three blue and white sticks in the bag and he pulled them all out, he looked at them more closely and noticed they all said negative on them. He knew they were pregnancy tests but he didn't know how to react as Hailey hadn't mentioned them to him. He knew he had to ask her about them and tell her that he found them but he was going to wait until she got back as this wasn't something he was going to talk to her about over the phone. He finished the rest of the cleaning then went and sat on the couch, putting on the tv and watching it while he waited for Hailey to get back.

Hailey had just walked in the door with multiple bags full of groceries. Jay went and helped her with the bags and they put everything away then Hailey made food for them, she made them grilled cheese sandwiches and they sat at the dining table and ate together. The whole time they were talking all Jay was thinking about was the pregnancy tests that he found. After they ate and cleaned up the dishes he decided he had to confront Hailey about them because if he didn't he wouldn't stop thinking about them. They were currently laying on the couch watching tv, Hailey was laying on Jays chest. "Hailey can I ask you about something?" He questioned. "Of course you can, what is it?" She asked lifting herself off of Jays chest so she could sit in front of him and see his face while he was talking to her. "Well, while I was cleaning i found the negative pregnancy tests in the bathroom, why didn't you tell me about them?" He questioned, his tone calm and curious. She just looked at him and her eyes began to fill with tears "I- i" was all she said before she broke down crying. "C'mere." Jay said opening up his arms, Hailey fell into his arms and rested her head on his shoulder." "It's okay, let it out." He said repeatedly rubbing his hand over her shoulder. Hailey continued to cry and she had put her hands over her face, she felt embarrassed for getting in such a state about a question. She spent around 15 minutes like this, crying into her hands as Jay rubbed her shoulder and said comforting words into her ear.

After a while she took her head off of Jays shoulder and rubbed the tears off of her cheeks using the sleeves of her jumper. She took a deep breath and looked at him. "I-I didn't tell you about the tests because I'm really sad that I'm not pregnant and I had no idea how you were going to react." Hailey began to cry again she couldn't help it. "And um- I- i didn't know if you'd still want to be with me if you knew." She said sniffling, hearing this made Jays heart break. "Oh Hails." He said wiping the tears off her face with his thumb. "Im so sorry you didn't feel like you could tell me about the tests and it's so understandable that you're sad. Of course I still want to be with you. No matter what Hailey it's you. You're the only person I want to be with." He said taking her hands in his and rubbing his thumbs over her knuckles. "We can keep trying and if we find out there is absolutely no way we can conceive a child naturally, there is so many other options we can look into and discuss, we will do whatever we have to do and I know that one day when the time does come you're going to be the most amazing mother Hailey." Hailey smiled at this. Hearing those things come from the love of her life's mouth, made her happy and excited for the future, it also made her feel like no matter what good and bad she knew Jay would be by her side and he was right they would do whatever they had to do and one day they would be parents.
