Wealth and power goes hand in hand and if one have them, he losses control and focus, we drift apart from our love ones and sometimes even loss our own self along the way,
As days pass Rukayya has given all hopes of ever getting a second chance from ibrahim, but that's not what bothers her, ibrahim transition is what bothers her the most, one success after the other Allah SWT seems to have makes all his dreams comes true sure she's happy for him but ibrahim have completely deviate from his old self, the caring family man with alot of charisma is been replaced by a busy working man that all he wants is make more money,
Greed they say is a bottomless pit which exhaust the person in an endless effort to satisfy the need without ever reaching satisfaction and that is exactly what is happening to ibrahim.
He's been so busy wanting more and more of wealth that he's blinded by everything, his wedding is fast approaching just 3weeks to the Wedding there are rumors around town that he's planning a big wedding, he pretty much exclude rukayya and his brothers from anything pertaining the wedding
Quote from holy Qur'an surah Al munafiqun verse 9
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُلْهِكُمْأَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ
Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo la tulhikum amwaalukum wa laa awlaadukum 'anzikril laah; wa mai-yaf'al zaalika fa-ulaaa'ika humul khaasiroon
"O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that - then those are the losers.
It's a lonely Monday morning,
Rukky is sitting outside the varender as usual, Bello and Ahmad left this morning, ibrahim didn't spend the night at home yesterday it's become a habit of his now even when rukky try to ask where he spend the night he just shun her as usual, she give up and just watch him do as he please, maryam left early morning she's been so busy with the wedding preparations, what amazed rukky is the new iPhone 12pro Max the girl is using she has morphed from the quiet ss3 girl into a complete different person, she seems to be Ibrahim's only responsiblity.
"Sallamu'alaikum."a familiar voice say as the gate open making her to look up in excitement.
"Salma."rukky say smiling and stand up at once. She wasn't able to attend salma's wedding there was just alot going on in her life that she doesn't have time for anything, tho she called Salma and apologize but she wished she attended the wedding.
"Rukayya.
Ha,a how are you doing?"Salma ask as the two enter the parlour.
"Alhamdulilah,
Haa, Salma "an zama mutanen KD"
When do you come to town?"rukayya ask standing up to get her something to drink.
"Yesterday,
I say let me suprise you two,
Just coming from Nabila house and the gateman said she traveled early this morning with her husband."salma say as rukky enter the kitchen.
